Thanks for the reply... Both VAC and the U.S. Visa Information Service for India (VFS) office has the same address... So maybe they are the same?

My interview is on 16 oct 2015 so i scheduled biometric on 15 oct

Since Sofitel and trident are kinda expensive.. Kohinoor elite isnt that bad probably .. its 3km from consulate.. Yes, VAC and US consulate are different.. but when you search for VAC, it shows as US Visa Info Service for India. So maybe VAC/biometric is done at that place???

I received the p4 packet in my email today... was planning to call them since my interview date is on 1st Oct at Mumbai... one tension reduced..
