Hello everyone

I have few questions. All of you who are waiting for the interview date, where exactly are your paperwork currently? Is it at NVC or embassy mumbai. I have called the embassy and they said that its still at NVC. My CC is 20th July.

Also, is it true that the scheduling is usually done at the last week of a month as well as first week of the next month??

It stays at NVC until they schedule interview and physically send paper works to consulate.

My case complete is July 20 as well and consulate Mumbai.

We both should hear about interview date soon

I just go through all above post. Why our consulate mumbai taking too much time to schedule interview.

I was going through the posts in the october 2015 interview topic and i saw people mentioning about the new version of I-864 and that it should be filled and taken to the interview. Does anybody has any information about this. Has anyone of you received any instructions from NVC regarding this??

New version of I-864 is release which has 12 pages.

Some says its not required to take the new version unless requested to bring. NVC did not send and instructions about this so far.

But I feel better to be safer than sorry. So Get both I-864 old and new to the interview, if they ask u can give, else just leave it as a side. having some more paper work will not be a load for us, than getting a 221-G.
