Just called mumbai and spoke to immigration services they said they can't comment on my case as it's still with NVC and I spoke to NVC they told me that the dates for September are full and they are working on October any one get a September interview for mumbai please advise

Did the rep said this to you? Everytime I call, they simply ask me to wait. They said August is full and they schedule for Sept. how come in a day Sept is filled... Its tooo bad.. how long they want us to wait....

Just called NVC this morning and the lady said that as far as she knows they are still working on September dates and are not done with it yet. So there is still hope but it's weird that the other lady would tell me that they are working on October I really don't like waiting it's been too long

I used to follow many people with Mumbai consulate, they used to get the interview letter in a weeks time, maximum 10days. But for us its taking ages...

Hey Guys! How has everyone been doing?

I am awaiting my case complete but I am quite worried about waiting time for the interview now. My husband and I really wanted to spend his birthday together(End of October), but looks like we won't be able to.

Also, I somehow think things should start moving along quickly now since the month of august is when the consulate seeing hundreds and hundreds of student visa interviews. But all the schools start in September, so hopefully there will be more interview slots in September and October.

Praying for Mumbai to start working quickly!

30-Dec-2014: Married

19-Jan-2015: I-130 Sent

21-Jan-2015: NOA

16-Jul-2015: NOA 2 (No RFE's! Yayy)

15-Jul-2015: Case sent to NVC

22-Jul-2015: Case received by NVC

5-Aug-2015: Case # and IIN assigned

6-Aug-2015: Filled and submitted DS-261

7-Aug-2015: AOS fee invoiced and paid(Status: In Process)

I agree with you SiVin. I used to follow so many Mumbai Consulate timelines and really they did used to get their dates in like a week or so!

As a result of which I had gotten quite hopeful about being able to move by October end.

Don't know what has happened. Praying for you guys!! :)

I called today morning, but still nothing for me. after seeing lots of interview happiness, I hope I ll get it somewhere this week.

Everyone, do call NVC and update us the status.. Interview letter comes bit late..

Hi

My case complete is on 20th July, 2015. My wife called the US embassy in India and they said that the case is still at NVC. I called NVC today and the representative said that they wont send the case until the interview is schedule. Seems like they both have their excuses ready to keep the process dragging.
