So So Happy for all of you guys who got their interview dates, this is a great forum that brings people together from different nationalities and cultures, sharing our immotions; anger, anticipation, sadness, confusion, and most importantly HAPPINESS. Like a family.

I have a suggestion, August is coming to an end very soon, instead of loosing the amount of activity and ranking of our forum on the VJ site, why not remove the month from the name of the Forum, and archive the posts at the end of every month, I don't know if that is possible, but if it can be done, I believe our discussion we will gain more visibility and participation on the VJ site specially for newbies

I jus called NVC, i got interview date Sept 16th, 2015 @ 0830AM

But it still shows my case at NVC on ceac.state.gov

Wat should i do since my interview is only over 2 wks ahead.

I havent received any instruction how to follow before interview

It takes a couple days to switch from "NVC" to "IN TRANSIT" and then to "READY".

It should get there in time, but wouldn't hurt to give the embassy a call or e-mail them a couple days before your interview, specially if you live far from the embassy.. Someone recently (Tunisia or Turkey?) had an interview but the documents weren't there yet..

@TeamLAGOS congrats to you..so happy for you..can u please forward NVC No. 2me so I can also call(with the statecode)pls & d Nigtime I can have a call go through to them ..my cc is aug 10 though kipping my finger cross till they schedule an appointment hopefully soon..

Got to be honest Lagos is still assigning interview dates for June CC people. I sure wouldn't call. Keep eye on your inbox and see.

Okay you got to give them a minute. They don't send your petition off immediately. Probably go out friday. So just keep your eyes on your inbox for your P4 letter.

Each months thread is archived you can always go read them. We just lock them so people most along to next month. We follow the same path as the NVC Filers thread.

It was decided a while ago having the month titled helps. We have people come and post who had interviews whenever. It's not just for September babies.

Also for housekeeping purposes having just a thread for "2015 Interviews" is just too massive. People don;t follow the guidelines like fill out the form. They just say add me. And I do it gladly. But imagine 100's and thousands of pages sometimes I step away from the tread (I do have a full time job) and come back and I am 10 pages behind.

I have to read each and every post for questions, add me, update me. So having month to month keeps it all nice and neat ad we move on to the next.

In 5 days we will have October Interview thread because by than October Interviews will or should e announcement. So it just better to flow with that.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Keep them coming. I am trying to figure a way to get people to input their actual VJ member name on the form so I can add. No longer just adding any name. And if it could update automatically when people change names would e so nice.

Still no interview yet for Lagos. CC July 29...really hope to get a September interview. Seems unlikely at this point. Hope the start July CC.

Congratulations everyone who got the interview!

This still proves the theory that

1. NVC does not schedule all month round.

2. VJ members are good sample size. (It is just quite impossible coincidence otherwise that bunch of people start receiving interviews after months of complete silence)

3. NVC reps on phone does not have any information whatsoever, other that if your particular situation is listed on your file. What that means is, if they keep telling you that they started scheduling for so and so month, and finished so and so month, they are making up that information. Which has no relation to reality.
4. VJ sample can tell an actual story about when interviews are getting scheduled and when they are not.
