So after asking for confirmation emails here in this thread, waiting for emails was worth it! A short while ago I finally received one!

I've read about delays on getting the passports back and cases being placed for additional processing after the interview..

Given the lack of consistency for the NVC/Embassies (and our bad luck), I wouldn't do it... What I do plan to do is make a reservation through a travel agent, they can usually hold them for 24h and "renew" it a couple times...

On this topic, is it safe to buy a one-way ticket? I ask because airline staff always check that during the check-in if you have a return ticket when you fly under a tourist or business visa.. Will they understand I don't really need one this time?

You sure can buy a one way. No issues will happen you are immigrating.

i need an answer plz guys.. when u give them the 2014 taxes, should u give them a new I864?

and if so, there is a new version now, which one we should use, the new or the old one?

Yes you will need a new I-864 if you are bringing anything that changes the form. The new forms sure you can use they aren't required until Oct0ber 7th. Your choice.

As I said before, we don't know nothing about the interviews in Spain, but at least I can see that the european embassy are scheduling

the interviews, so I hope to know anything soon, i'm pretty sure that this week we will have some new.

Is it too risky to already now book a flight leaving for the US 15 days after the visa interview?

I sure wouldn't until I have Visa in Hand. There are people for Egypt still waiting for Visa's after June approved interviews. And varies other embassies where they are saying wait 2 to 3 weeks for Visa. Te printing and backlog is still shaky. And even though you may think not a busy embassy remember all those tourist that get visas Sweden stays busy enough.

Unless you don't mind paying the change date price you could go that route but its a risk.
