Dear Dwheels .... PLZ Advice.

I have been waiting almost 4 months for an interview date, I know others who have been waiting since the end of March for an appointment at the Embassy in Jordan,

Contacted Senators and the White House, What else to do ?

Sam,

Can you explain to me what this is about? Have yo tried to do it? Try it see what happens.

I called today around 7:15 pm and there was no waiting.

Try calling again!

Hey Guys, I'm an EB2 (Employment-based).

- Interview scheduled Aug 18th for Sept 15th in Montreal

- CC Aug 5th

For your "consolation" though

- Case created at NVC Feb 24th

- Case transferred by USCIS to NVC Feb 3th

- I-140 Petition approved by USCIS Oct 1st (yup  )

So I started like a tortoise and finished like a hare.

All in all almost a full year since my IV Petition has been approved to the Consular Interview.

Good luck to y'all, and hope you're faster than me.

Wow! How come your employer was ok waiting over a year for you?

Been with this Employer for a couple of years now on an H1B Visa, while my family is "patiently" waiting in Canada.

During all this time my Employer changed one CEO, three Directors and two of my Direct Managers.

Imagine the stress. But I can "see" it now.

Honestly, too exhausted to even celebrate.

I tried to call just now, still nothing. This process is starting to get into me. It's very frustrating. I've been waiting for 10 weeks now.

whats the islamabad embassy status? any interviews scheduled?

We haven't gotten an interview date yet. We called around 1 pm and the NVC rep told us that September interviews were finished (which clearly they are not since other people are still getting interview dates.) maybe tomorrow?

yeah i am just calling up nvc but the calls are not getting through, they keep declining the call after making the second selection...traffic load.

i guess its better to wait for the appointment letter in mail rather than calling them up and face disappointment :(

i am really hopeful for an october slot.
