For philippines, i called usem manila and asked..they said they haven't received anything from NVC as far as september interviews..this waiting really sucks..my petition has been moving fast and i was really impressed..but now, i don't know..

Hi me also waiting for interview for my parents in manila, phils.. I tried to reach them and what they told me is that they dont have thecase yet it was nvc whose making the appointment and not them.. My cc was july 14 and hoping for sept or oct but not until december.. Its so frustrating..

Just called the NVC , they re done with Spet for all countries ( based on what the agent told me ) and now they re doing the October.

at this point im going to start looking to buy a ticket for me so i can visit my wife . this process is totally a mess

After exchanging a couple e-mails with our Consulate in Rio and informing them the NVC is telling they are waiting on the embassy, here is their response (translated to English):

The availability for interviews in September was sent to the NVC in time and we are receiving batches of cases for the month of September. The NVC that is responsible for asking the availability for interviews when they need them. If they need extra slots, they contact us directly. We understand your frustration due to the delays, however, your interview scheduling depends on the NVC.

In our case, they say clearly here that it's the NVC delaying scheduling.

Here we get to solid confirmation of what we all have been "feeling" for some time now.

Hi, im confused by what said about not until december..do you mean your parents interview is on december? Or you mean your hoping for sept or oct but not like up to december? Me too i hope its really soon..the reason why i called us embassy manila is because everytime i call NVC theyll say they are waiting from us embassy manila to give them the available dates..then when i called us embassy manila they say they are waiting from NVC..its really frustrating..

We finally got our written CC confirmation in the mail today after a whole month since NVC confirmed our case was complete (over the phone). We never received the CC email and called 2 weeks ago to see what was up with that and the rep said she would have it reissued. I assume they aren't going to send an email and the letter is the only confirmation we will get (which I'm ok with).

One question, though. The date on the letter is August 17, 2015. Does this mean that they 'reset' the CC date? We confirmed that the CC date was July 20 twice over the phone, so I will be very upset if we're now at the back of the already-way-too-long line for an interview in Cairo.

Your Case Closed date is July 20th. Ours is July 22nd but our confirmation email is July 29th. I called the NVC a few times and they confirmed our case closed date is July 22nd,

The CC date is the CC date they tell you it happened, not what's on the letter.

We saw the "three N/As" on July 31st and got a letter a week later. We called and confirmed the CC was July 31st, regardless of the letter showing another date.

My wife's immigrant visa interview today was successful! Visa to be picked up in a week. Glory be to God. I pray for good news very soon for those still to receive interview appointment dates. Cheers!!

No news today for us as far as rescheduling the interview goes..

I did hear back from my senators office and they have agreed to look into the matter for me (after faxing them a consent form ..so that information could be released to the office ) and see what can be done. I hope it helps to get things moving back in the right direction

How do you request for the expedite

Call NVC tell them you are requesting your case e expedited they will ask for letter and evidence to back up what you claim.

I know, hopefully this waiting would be over..it's just not soon enough..i was really hoping for september..i wish my husband could celebrate his birthday here in US in october..oh well, we will just keep praying..some of these days, we'll get an email from NVC..we'll get through this..

Monday will be our 2 yrs anniversary. This distance between us and this unknowing waiting is driving us crazy. Our CC was May 27, 2015 and we are still waiting for an interview. I stop calling NVC because they have no answers for you. I just track the spreadsheet to see when interviews are being scheduled. I pray that God will let NVC start scheduling interviews very soon.

We got an email from NVC last night, my heart was beating, I thought it was my interview date..........
