I just got off the phone with the NVC and was told all the September slots were filled. She was told this information this morning. They are now filling October.

Not sure what type of visas they filled them with! I was told by MTL that I should be getting an interview in Sept and they were waiting on NVC to see the list (this is yesterday).

What is really strange it's that only a few get their interviews scheduled, maybe we can go to other post from

differents types of visa and see if they have interviews programmed!

No. Their NOA1 is were few months ahead of me. I think July/ August 2014. Mine was early January 2015.

This is what I try to explain to folk each month that NOA1(PD dates) do matter when they have a stack of folks. They were before you even though you had CC before them but you all were in the Interview queue together so rightly so the ones waiting the longest get the dates. Or they usually get scheduled the earlier in month time slots. Makes sense. People always want to refute and say PD doesn't matter. Yes it sure does.

Yes. I would not be upset at all if someone who filed before me gets scheduled ahead of me. A bunch of people hit very difficult snags along the way and did not get through NVC the smooth and easy way. I was stuck for more than a month with tech issues at NVC. Let's be patient people. Our turn will surely come.

Yes reading some of these horror stories people stuck at NVC for 6 ,8 10 months. NVC says to keep sending this and that and they have done it. They lose things. I think that's why they stop the send originals to them mess.

I have helped many people stuck at NVC because of their own errors on the wonderful I-864. I played with the new one and you know its auto fill. I use FoxIt and as you fill in that part most mess up (Don't add anyone twice) it pre-fills according to what you put before. Also addresses names. I was like this is wonderful.

Well I called a short while ago too and I was informed that the September slots have gone for Islamabad Embassy :( and they will be scheduling for October. I think it's a different situation for every embassy but I seriously don't know what's happening at NVC.

interviews for my country (Spain), so as you told, maybe every embassy have diferents slots.

All we can do is wait :clock: because we all know how NVC works. I think its pretty much down to NVC for failing to schedule interviews and creating a backlog but to be honest who knows what the inside story is !!! <_<

After exchanging a couple e-mails with our Consulate in Rio and informing them the NVC is telling they are waiting on the embassy, here is their response (translated to English):

The availability for interviews in September was sent to the NVC in time and we are receiving batches of cases for the month of September. The NVC that is responsible for asking the availability for interviews when they need them. If they need extra slots, they contact us directly. We understand your frustration due to the delays, however, your interview scheduling depends on the NVC.

In our case, they say clearly here that it's the NVC delaying scheduling.

My email to the embassy in Delhi, India generated the following response:

We understand that you would like to know the status of the immigrant visa application with the NVC case number.

In response to your question, our records indicate the visa application is under process at the National Visa Center. Please contact NVC regarding any questions you may have about this application. Please visit http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/nvc/nvc-contact-information.html for information about how to contact NVC.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

In my email, I had specifically asked about CR-1 interview slots\timeframe, which they completely ignored.. in favor of the stock reply. Basically, way I see it, NVC and most Embassies point the finger at each other.
