Hi @ marvegiyam you said yours is quite similar. I didn't quite understand. Are you the beneficiary waiting for the interview or your husband.which country? Just keeping my fingers crossed as i really dnt know what will be the outcome of all this.

not the same country but I just did my crba in July in jordan took 2 weeks to get that and the passport, no way does it take 11 months for anywhere in the world I can't answer ur question if u qualify as I don't know where ur main post was to see .

There's no such number applied to citizens. It's immediate. They don't limit for citizens a petitioning family. That's why we don;t have to wait for PD to be current. We are always current so that surely is not it.

Has anyone called their Congressman or Senator to ask them to get answers?

asked senator they got the same reply we do we don't know when an appointment will be available blah blah .

True.. but immediate relatives of USCs are still hamstrung by the limited interview slots at embassies worldwide. Clearly a case of demand overwhelming supply. There are only so many interviewing officers at consular posts.

Thank you for the confirmation dwheels76. I was under the assumption that that was the case as well. I just was getting a little doubtful because of all this waiting. :)

It would be awesome if they could open up other embassies to where we can have the interviews. Like for Mexico, we can only go to Juarez when there are 12 other US consulates in the country.

Yes I'm the beneficiary waiting for interview to be scheduled, many things in my life waiting for this interview ?so the samilarity is the pregnancy, and I might not be able to travel, but my husband is U.S. citizens...

Immigrant visas require a different set of extensive paperwork, resources, etc. For example, India has 6 US consulates, but only 2 deal with immigrant visas.

toozler so all those interviews that were scheduled from your list at the end of april had may interviewS?

Here we can see, case by case, when:

- "case complete" happened (the thin line and the colors)

- interview was scheduled (start of the thick line)

- interview date (end of thick line)

And the text (X days) shows how long each person waited between CC and the interview happening (total wait from CC to interview)

I wish they would do that. In Canada only Montreal do the immigrant visa. I hope they would open all the consulate in Canada for immigrant interview.

@ marvegiyam. Why do you say you wont be able to travel. If its a similar case like you said is still about the same procedure and if it works out you will be able to travel...

Because when you get the 7-8 month of the pregnancy, some flight companies don't let you get on the plane for security reasons!

For the seat belts and the turbulence.

I just called and nothing once more. Also I have a question regarding traveling. My husband still has a valid tourist visa that he has not used since we sent the I-130. There is an important event in September and if he doesn't get interview and POE before end of September is there a possibility he can use his tourist visa. When hasn't used it for precautionary reasons. We don't want agents at border thinking he's permanently leaving. Is there any suggestions on what he should do to go to Phoenix AZ for 2 days?
