So we understand better the people working at NVC and how they work, here are some quotes from one of those websites where employees (verified or not?) can send reviews about their workplace:

- "I worked there for 3 years and it was the most depressing time of my life..."

- "...The 'NVC' is a one story warehouse with a few offices around the inner circle of the building. The outer perimeter is where the downtrodden staff and low level supervisors nest. Most of this dank warehouse houses a factory filled with dirty crates of endless applications from all over the world from desperate people who want to come to America..."

- "This place will make you hate yourself. It is miserable. You are a robot. You are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances to speak to other employees...."

hhhh i could not stop my laugh when i read those comments

where did you get these comments from ?

Bogota Rocks, from the active VJ members, we only heard of 1 interview for CR1/IR1 at the Dutch embassy. Everyone else is on the same limbo - some people have been waiting for over 3 months since the Case Complete.

I have asked many times over the phone if the NVC has an ombudsman. They always respond "an ombud-what?" to show the level of the service being offered. We also contacted our congress people but they really can't do anything other than inquire.

There's a phone number for the NVC director on a public unclassified directory if anyone feels like trying to reach Mr. Phillip.

I feel the anger here amongst members regarding the Interview process.

You'd thing once the case was completed it'd be downhill from there lol but Bloody heck.

I am getting a bit paranoid at this moment.

Maybe it's nothing (I hope not) but the more i think about it it freaks me out...

According to some conspiracy theorists this September 2015 is the end of the famous (dreaded) seven year cycle where things always seem to go wrong.

This year people are predicting an Asteroid hitting off the coast of Puerto Rico (Highly unlikely) and/or an Economic Collapse (very likely) much more worse than the one in 2008 which would totally cause chaos and anarchy everywhere.

I normally do not believe anything like this sort of stuff but history does not lie for example check this out.

Seven yrs ago (in 2008) we had the Economic Collapse, the seven yrs before that we had 9-11, the seven before that there was something else, and so on etc.

Some people are predicting some crazy things for this year and i hope and pray to GOD they are wrong because i really need my Family to get their Visas ASAP.

I just gave Mr. Slattery a call....it went straight to voicemail because he is (conveniently) "not at his desk right now".....

We should all leave voicemails and see if we get a call back.

We knew where to call when cases were at USCIS.

We knew where to call when cases were at NVC.

And now.. neither NVC nor Embassy won't answer what's next. Call NVC and they're waiting on the embassy to offer slots; call Embassy to have them say get in touch with NVC which schedules interviews.

Used to be NVC scheduled between 26th and 4th of month. Of late, between 14th and 17th. It's the 18th now.. and nothing.

I'd rather know clear cut what the issue is so I can patiently wait, rather than pop out from under the rock every so often only to crawl back after "no news". Could this be any worse?

I get that but if it was just one or two embassies that's one thing but I also monitor varies countries threads off VJ and the conversation is the same for IR1/CR1. Just F2A's and other types but not citizens. There is something afoot here. New procedures? Maybe. Maybe they think they waited long enough. I don;t know. But it sure doesn't hurt to call and maybe that one congressman or senator will be able to get answers. I am a fact finding person. I just want explanation. That's why I try my best to get you all the most up to date information I can.

Okay well I just called a lawyer that has quite a client load and they said their clients are being scheduled. They feel its just a big coincidence that one here is getting scheduled.
