Oh my goodness!! What is going on with Mexico?! Or better ciudad Juarez!! They are taking forever to give out their schedules for September and it's not like they'll have many dates anyway cause of all the U.S. AND MEXICAN holidays but they should get their stuff together! I just called and nothing. Been waiting with cc since April how much longer will my husband and I have to wait. We just celebrated anniversary over Skype and it sucked. We thought by this time in August we'd already be living together.

:clock: 1 year this week after tying the knot. boohooo and still waiting.

Us too. Our anniversary just passed last week. It is very sad. I don't even have the strength to be mad.

We been stuck since february at NVC, and last week we celebrated our anniversary in a daily skype date. . I'm ready to throw in the towel and just go and to guatemala. Its sad that all are away from their loved ones. I hope everyone gets an interview date soon.

lol.. They are probably spending time on facebook. Reading through this forum is part of work.

Anyways, since we have established in this thread, the biggest role in the interview process is played by Priority Date. For marriage based cases, it's the date when I-130 is sent. Assuming from your timeline, your PD is 2015-03-14, the latest person on family based case who got the appointment that I know of is suzannepecak, and her priority date is 2014-08-08. You have some waiting to do, unless they are done scheduling the ones with case complete and priority date earlier than yours.

Yes, although suzannepeack is applying from a different embassy. I believe the priority date only comes into play for applicants from the same country.

On another note, this process has made me completely frustrated.

I really doubt that, some people get their cases sent to CSC and they get their noa <1 month. So they have earlier priority dates but they still get their interview scheduled as soon as their NVC process is complete without having to wait for people from their priority dates to get an interview.

Say Applicant A and Applicant B apply for an i-130 and both get the same PD but applicant A gets sent to CSC and applicant B gets sent to Texas. Applicant A will be done with the whole USCIS and NVC thing in under 5 months but Applicant B will get through in 10 months. I doubt the NVC are just going to hold on the Applicant A's file till Applicant B catches up.

I am saying this coz one of my friend got sent to VSC and had his NOA in 50 days. He was done with the NVC in another 60 and had his interview scheduled shortly after. He waited under 6 months for an interview and this is WITHOUT an expedite

Guyz,

Don't bother about this PD. PD matters only to F2A where they have the limited visa quota for the year. We are CR1/IR1 and these PD is not going to block us.

Based on PD and Visa bulletin NVC will process their case, till their PD comes to current their cases will not be processed, and based on that only they will get interview date.

My PD is September 30, 2013. My case spent a year at the NVC with RFE requests (4 times) over my AOS (two times there were no errors on my part and the other two had to do with boxes not correctly checked). It was approved July 22nd, 2015 (CR-1) and I have been waiting for an interview at the Montreal Consulate so I don't think they follow the PD whatsoever. I spent the past TWO anniversaries away from my husband....we were married August 1, 2013 and then started the paperwork three weeks later.
