I am IR5 .I have been following this thread for any sign of interview scheduling for Mumbai. I just called NVC and asked them if there was a delay in scheduling interviews for Mumbai. She said that as and when the dates were available they would start scheduling....and that NVC schedules towards the end of the month. She was reading from a script. I am hoping that she is wrong and I get something today.

This is where you search. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

It says either "At NVC", "in Transit" or "Ready" when its at the embassy

Okay, finally fifured it out. Was just being blond about it.....

It says "in transit" as of today. Yesterday it was still "at NVC".

Funny thing: Wednesday I got a call from the embassy asking me to forward the P4 letter to them. SHe went: NVC keeps emailing people super quick about their interview date and we at the embassy know nothing!

Kay.........welcome to our world.....? Jeez, lady...

What do you mean you weren't in a rush all of a sudden?

I was responding to your earlier post, suggesting that I was in a rush all of a sudden after waiting for several months. So to clarify, I didn't just wake up recently and decided I would like to expedite my case. It's something that I have started several months ago.

Until now CR1/IR1 in Vietnam don't receive any interview letter yet. Only F2A, F4, K1 and another type of visa had interview date on Sep. So we really hope we can have interview date on Oct-2015. But my friend read that news and she said that maybe US embassy in Vietnam or all over the world will stop scheduling for CR1/IR1 from now until next year 2016. That's such a crazy and terrible news if it come true. We're praying if end of this month any CR1/IR1 in Vietnam have interiview letter or interview date on Oct-2015. I try calling NVC 2 times per week to ask interview date. I hope everything run smoothly.

I would really like to see that nonsense website your friend sited.

Lagos has been scheduling interviews. Yes they were expedites but still IR1/CR1. Vietnam has always been very iffy with scheduling. Vietnam and Cambodia go back and forth with long scheduling. I have had some wait 7 to 8 months after Case complete for those two countries. I have no other countries on my spreadsheet with such waits. So maybe its just your embassy. But I know for a fact its not the world. There is no way possible that could ever happen.
