Yeah, I tried this website before. Doesn't work for me, I can't log on. I haven't received the instruction to do so yet, so I guess that's why

We met in 2002, dated and were torn apart in 2003and we reconnected end of 2013

NVC welcome letter + email received: March 10, 2015 - date on letter March 3, 2015

NVC assigned case number: March 1, 2015

DS-261 filed: March 10, 2015

AOS fee payed online: March 10, 2015

NVC confirmation letter for choice of agent being registered: May 5, 2015 - received this letter thru email on May 7, 2014 and again via letter/email May 8, 2015

IV bill received: May 7 and May 8, 2015 (together with letter ds261 review confirmation)

Send in AOS an IV package: May 6, 2015

Payed IV bill thru money order: May 8, 2015

Email from NVC with letter of acceptance of AOS and IV package: May 15, 2015 (processing time: at least 60 days)

I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

Well the search engine is for you to see where your case is at, to track it. Doesn't have anything to do with the instructions you were given in your interview letter. Just thought you might wanna check it out. Its not second website info.. Its on the first page of the CEAC portal.

dwheels76, please help if you can, I'm freaking out a little bit. My interview is coming up on August 20th, and I only have a scanned copy of my husband's divorce decree from his previous marriage. My divorce decree from my previous marriage is fine - it's original and apostilled, but neither my husband nor his ex-wife have an original of this document, and neither of them are in the country to request an original. Will it be fine if I just take the original of my decree, and the scanned (not certified!) copy of my husband's decree?

It might be a little late now but usually you can order a certified copy from the county clerk's office and they will just send it home to you.

Jan 13th 2016 - Mailed our reply to the 221(g) to the US Embassy, received and CEAC updated the next morning


Jan 20th 2016 - Embassy require more in-depth info on asset for i-864


Feb 1st 2016 - Sent more in-depth info on assets as requested. Received the next morning


Feb 16th 2016 - Visa has been issued :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:



In the US


April 5th 2016 - POE Newark. No questions asked.


April 14th 2016 - SSN received


May 10th 2016 - First day at my new job :dancing:


May 27th 2016 - Green Card received


June 7th 2016 - Got my Texas driver's license

@Dwheels - please update my case, this is for R5 for my mother.

Interview was scheduled on 7/15 for 8/25. We requested an earlier date with the consulate and got rescheduled for 8/12. The interview went well today, now waiting to get the paperwork back from them. Country is Georgia.

Thanks to all for all your help and support! It''s been a nerve-wrecking journey but this forum has made a huge difference!

2015-03-06: AOS invoice received via email

2015-03-06: AOS invoice paid online

2015-03-07: Submitted DS-261 Agent Form online

She said they had started now, and that they will start end of the month also? confusing... :P

think they were saying they are starting now and will scheduling interviews from when they started until the end of the month. so pretty much for the rest of the month they will be doing them
