I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

Guys i saw in another forum that f2a got their interview for sept and days like 11. 14. 22 are full so i think they gonna call.us for october

Doesn't really make sense. Every schedule is different at all embassies. Some might not even have f2a applicants right now so that would not concern everyone. Maybe you're talking about your own situation :)?

What forum is it btw?

I emailed my consulate (not thinking I'd get a response back) about September interviews. Got a response today saying that they are just now receiving the September scheduling cases. Hope I'm one of them! :joy:

Also, since it seems they are just receiving September interview cases today from the NVC, it should be the same for all consulates? So hopefully this brings hope to others as well.

I finished my call just now, waited in line for 1.5 hours and got disconnected. in between some Lady picked up and asked case no and my name and dob, then again waited for around 1hr.

I sent an email to the embassy here in Madrid and I received this automatic reply:

'Department of States Bureau of Consular Affairs is currently experiencing technical problems with our overseas passport and visa systems. This issue is not specific to any particular country, citizenship document, or visa category. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working urgently to correct the problem and restore full operability. There will be delays in applicants receiving their approved visas until the systems are restored. Please rest assured that as soon as these services resume, we will make every effort to issue and return passports and visas as quickly as possible.'

Maybe this is the reason for why are taking longer to make the appointments for the interview.

I don't know.. It sounds like the problem back in July with the printing of visas etc..

I don't know.. It sounds like the problem back in July with the printing of visas etc..

I asked the rep about that too , they re not aware of the problem , nothing has been reported yet
