63 days to CC still waiting for an Interview date. This is getting frustrating. NVC says the embassy will schedule it and they cant do anything at this point.

Contacting the embassy is a nightmare as their email response time is 900 million light years.

August 5th was my case complete. When do you think I can get an interview date for Accra?

Y'all had me scared for an hour (the time it took to reach an NVC rep). Our case was completed on July 20, confirmed on July 21 over the phone and until this date, we STILL haven't received the CC email. Called a little while ago and the rep confirmed again that the CC was 7/20 and said that it was strange that we still haven't received the email, so she put in a resend request.

Didn't ask about interview dates, but does anybody know what happens if you choose the new interview confirmation(?) option on the automated menu? Does it redirect you to a representative or another menu or what?

Apparently not many interviews have been scheduled for people with case complete from July until now.

We are expecting that interviews will start being scheduled around August 14th, based on what happened last month (interview dates were sent out around July 14 for interviews happening in August).

The average wait for Ghana is 60 days from the CC date.

So I grabbed the data from the "Case Complete to Interview" spreadsheet, removed all the non IR1/CR1 visas, removed all the expedited cases and all cases missing the interview date (including recent ones).

Based on 1572 cases from late 2012 until now, this is the amount of days between the case complete and the interview for each country.

(ps. I also removed countries with less than 4 entries and entries with 250+ days between c.c. and the interview, i.e. outliers)

Awesome work. Love it. However to make the information to you all more user friendly.

What I would love for you to do is develop a way to verify VJ name before they enter it. All these fake names and alias. Ughhhhh

I came to usa on august 6 at POE the IO just took my finger prints and stamped the passport that's it no question asked it took 2 mins.now how do I get my green card and social security number can suggest me anything? Thank u

Well congratulations and welcome to America. That's all that's done.

SS card I would go to the SS office end of week (give them a few days to get you in system) and apply. Checking the box on the DS-260 is not a given it will come in mail.

Next have you paid the $165 fee online yet? That's what generates your green card. http://www.uscis.gov/online-filing

If you have paid just monitor your status on the site and wait. It can take 4 to 8 weeks to receive.

No I was just wishful thinking its a suggestion I have put forward to USCIS, NVC and the embassy throughout the years. Hoping one day they say hey that' a good idea.

Well Ghana is a 2 month from CC wait usually. I have Ghana CC's at 6/8 still waiting to hear. S September date unfortunately is not likely. Maybe October.

It's all about where you are in the queue when they start scheduling and how many slots are available.

That is great news!!! Would you please change my CC to July 22nd please? I had posted July 28 or 29 because that is when I received the email verification but the supervisor told us on the phone that that the case was complete on July 22nd. Thank you
