I have a question ..my interview is scadualed on 10 sep ...do i need form i864 and recent incom tax return...plz do reply fast...am asking because we alrdy submited theses documents almst mnth ago..

Hi,

What is it you sent in so far? Tax papers for 2013 and I864?

We met in 2002, dated and were torn apart in 2003and we reconnected end of 2013

I married the love of my life (L) : March 21, 2014

We sent in our I-130 package to USCIS: August 8, 2014

USCIS received I-130: August 11, 2014

USCIS approves our case: February 10, 2015

USCIS sends case to NVC: February 18, 2015

NVC welcome letter + email received: March 10, 2015 - date on letter March 3, 2015

NVC assigned case number: March 1, 2015

DS-261 filed: March 10, 2015

AOS fee payed online: March 10, 2015

NVC confirmation letter for choice of agent being registered: May 5, 2015 - received this letter thru email on May 7, 2014 and again via letter/email May 8, 2015

IV bill received: May 7 and May 8, 2015 (together with letter ds261 review confirmation)

Send in AOS an IV package: May 6, 2015

Payed IV bill thru money order: May 8, 2015

Email from NVC with letter of acceptance of AOS and IV package: May 15, 2015 (processing time: at least 60 days)

Scan date: May 12, 2015

NVC cashed money order IV bill fee: May 15, 2015

Received confirmation letter thru email that IV fee is received: May19, 2015 - date in letter May 15, 2015

Received checklist: June 22,2015 - date on checklist June 19,2015

I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

There are some embassies that contact you. It's embassy specific. Not many but some.

Right . I read everything there is to read, also embassy specific, I think, lol.

I have good faith I am well prepared, and then I start doubting myself again, aaaahh!!

Finally some good news - case status changed to In Transit this afternoon to HCMC (VIETNAM) and an interview date has been scheduled by the NVC. :joy:

I call the NVC and they say the consulate will be contacting your spouse about the interview date? :rofl: I am guessing wait for the email confirmation letter and/or call back tomorrow after the dust settles?

If your interview letter told you to bring updated info, then bring an updated i864 and a copy of the 2014 tax return. If you have already submitted these, then bring a copy just in case.

Hi, Pls let me know how to call NVC. Before I always press 1, press 7 but today their system changed. Did they inform with you about your interview date?

Need choose 1 and 4 - seems interview option was changed from 7.

I called NVC but no interview date was in the system. Perhaps will know in a day or two? I'll ring back tomorrow.

I pressed 1 for english and pressed 1 for immigration visa. I met 1 representative but he asked me case number, beneficiary name and he said that he would transfer to another dept but he turned off my call. So sad. My husband called nvc and waited 30 min but he couldn't talk with anyone. He turned off call bcos he got headache with music from waiting. We let God decide it. Too tired and bored when calling NVC now.

My interview date is on sept 16th.

But I wont b able to complete medical exam till sept 18th. I try to book appointment for in those clinical assigned but the latest available date is on 9/24.

What will happen at the interview ? Anyone helps ?
