I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

Hi everyone, Hope you all are having a good weekend. Just a quick update for those that may be interested ..

Still no news from the NVC or the embassy in Tunisia in regards to rescheduling our interview.. Our case is still showing "in transit" on the ceac website.

I have been in contact with both senators from my state and my congressman. Both of my senators have contacted the NVC and are trying to help us resolve this matter.

The waiting is so hard. Our 2nd anniversary is Wednesday. We thought we were going to be spending it together this year. I guess it will make next year even more special and at least we will not have to worry about having conditions removed once we do have our interview and get the "yes".

I am happy for those of you that got your September interviews scheduled after such a long month of wondering in waiting.

The only silver lining for you guys is that your visa will be able to move from a CR-1 to an Ir1 (since you will have been married two years by the time of your interview) and there are some benefits to that change :) You WILL get your interview!

Gosh Mari I am truly sorry for all your wahala(as we say in Nigeria means do-do, problem, F up) Gosh I know it will get sorted. Just know soon you will be together forever and this will be just one of those stories you tell the kids and can laugh later.

Does anyone know if copies of the original i-130 /i-129f are required to bring to the interview? ALSO, what do they mean by " proof of applicant's current legal residence", does this mean my Canadian passport??

In all reality I would say that October scheduling will be next for Lagos. Hang in there.

Trust me Pharaoh7 I feel your pain. Egypt, Vietnam and Cambodia has always been longggg waits. I know that doesn't help. But Trying to at least keep spirits up. You are closer today to an interview then yesterday. Mean time I will try to keep the candles burning and keep it light. Soon you too will be joyfully running around asking How to prepare for an interview.

well I have 6/8 CC still waiting so doubtful. Depending on how many are in the queue. Hard to even predict now.

How long till nvc schedules an interview? Grrrr!

I know I answered this. New Delhi is slow its nothing like scheduling at Mumbai. The wait currently is about 3 to 4 months after case complete. So realistically. August CC is looking at maybe December interviews.
