I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

its delhi consulate...naah i waited for 2 months,so,no expedit...

i got email today at morning...cc 22 june(email)...i never called nvc after paid aos fees

Quick question for everyone as I am now preparing for the interview next month. I received the confirmation email from the NVC about it and then I received a second email about registering instructions for Loomis courier service.

I submitted my I-864 last July, 2014 but due to RFE's, this delayed the whole process by a year! The date on the form says it expires March, 2015. Do I need to prepare an updated I-864 for the interview now? I do have my husband's most current taxes to submit at the interview.

Hey everyone! I don't think I'll be getting a September interview, but I'll definitely be following this thread as well as one for October. I got CC on August 25th, so I'm expecting a late October interview for my husband.

I haven't found one yet, but I'm sure that the link will get posted once they start one for October :) I think the majority of interviews getting scheduled right now are for September.

My Montreal peeps: I have been pouring over the Montreal Consulate and here are a few nuggets I have gleaned from all my reading this morning:

1. Make sure you DO have another CURRENT/ ORIGINAL 1-864 document prepared with your spouse's signature AND most current income tax return. I believe the most up to date one expires in July, 2017 now.

2. Copies of everything already submitted..AGAIN. Remember to ask for your originals back. Last summer, I was required to submit originals. The NVC changed that policy last fall, 2014.

3. A current police check. I knew I needed to get an updated one due to the craziness of all my RFE my previous one expired in June, 2015.

4. For the medical, I was told I need the following immunizations; a MMR, TD and Varicella. If I had chicken pox, I needed to let the doc know that to be exempt from the Varicella shot BUT I needed to bring that to his attention.

I apologize if this is repetitive for some people but I wanted to share some things I had learned in case it helped someone :)
