The online request to get the transcript online is not applicable. It has been down a long time due to the irs system being compromised. However, you make the request online for the transcript to come by mail. I requested one a while back and it arrived very quickly. Not instant like the online service that they did have, but quick enough.

Thanks. My hubby has requested and this is among many times he has done it. First time over the phone and it never came. So today he has done online and he says it takes a couple of days... not sure how many. We have been using the tax returns (1040s etc plus the W2) i have them,,but i want to take the transcript to interview when my date with the consular comes.. don't have a date yet, praying this tomorrow will be our day to celebrate interview scheduling..

I say they take my long standing idea. At Case Complete NVC opens up the ustraveldocs.gov portal so you can schedule your own dang um interview. How about that. I mean why is it K1 can and you can't?

Thanks. My hubby has requested and this is among many times he has done it. First time over the phone and it never came. Yea, its just a feeling that the consular may ask why the transcript was not yet printed long after the returns were submitted...(just my thought anyway).. I want to be on the safe side. If it doesn't come then i will use the return forms + W2's. All the best dear!

I just called nvc

the rep tolled me no interview yet

but Cairo embassy start scheduling for October so we hope to get it soon

I just called and no interviews...how do you know about October?

I got my transcripts exactly 4 business days after I made the online request.

We hope to get ours sooner as well.. But when my hubby was filing his 2014 taxes, he was told that his identity had been stolen.. someone had used his SSN to file.. or something like that.. though he did send his returns eventually.. so i hope that does not affect us.

For my fellow Canadians: I received confirmation on the phone this afternoon that I had an interview scheduled for the end of September in MontreaI. I received my email confirming this as well an hour ago and my physical is scheduled for Monday afternoon in Toronto. It is amazing how you wait forever and then all of a sudden things start moving again...keep the faith everyone!!!

For my Mexi buddies....I saw a someone receive an interview today for Ciudad Juarez and his case completed on June 24th for an interview in September in a different forum. I hope they keep going....sooo close!

That's how I got married. I kept waiting and waiting for the right girl, then when I met her, everything happened so quickly.. engagement, marriage.

She is now my wife. Can't wait for the interview to be scheduled so we can be together again. Yes, keep faith everyone!
