Congrats to draga, got to see the 20 day streak is still going. Now the NVC has finished reviewing that huge package, they can get time to review ours too lol.

Copies to NVC, I don't think they request originals except for the tax transcipts.

Based on what I understand the Embassy will want a signed I-864/I-864 ez for the beneficiary.

Hi Guys,

Had a question about job letter. Since we need originals at the embassy stage...Do we send photocopies of the job letters or the originals for nvc..?

I think someone posted about this recently but I cant seem to find the thread. Thanks guys!!!

Really? So, are you positive, the employment verification letter we submit at the interview should have the wet signature? Then I am having a problem... I communicate with my company only via emails, it's a remote job. Can anyone reassure me?

In the interview letter we were asked to bring originals AND copies for a bunch of things, I am not sure if it was because we were asked to submit everything to consulate instead of at NVC first. In fact, it said to bring original for most things and for a few it noted that copies would be accepted.

I second this. My job's HR dept is in a separate building and are really difficult to get anything from.

Is an email job letter sufficient with pay stubs?

Yup, forgot to mention this.

For my purposes i chose option 7, which used to be choosing no option to talk to next available agent. (Option 7 has the most knowledgable agents picking up, in my experience/opinion)

Holy mother of all thing precious. I called after seeing you post this (3rd call today btw) I got a ring on the 3rd try and got thru the automated system to a rep in under 2 minutes. Spoke to the 1st tier person got transferred and spoke talking to a sup under 4 minutes.

AND THEY FINALLY REVIEWED MY DS 261 AND ADDED MY EMAIL ADDRESS...

And they received my received my paperwork today so today is my scan date.

I am soooooo thankful for you guys who keep us updated. I know it's not a case completed but I've been so depressed hearing that the case it locked and no one can unlock it. I feel like dancing and crying and singing and screaming... :joy::joy:

Hi all,

Did any of you receive two e-mails of confirmation for documents receipt from NVC? I received one Saturday, and another one right now.

When I first saw it, I freaked out thinking it was a checklist.

To be really honest, there is a part of me that is so paranoid that still believes it's a checklist, but they sent the wrong attachment :dead:

I've had a long day, I just arrived from a 16 hour flight. I probably should get some sleep.

I have received one email on 8/29 and another one on 8/31 saying that documents received. I sent AOS and IV documets on same day in the same package but under different envelopes. Do we receive two emails one for AOS and another for IV docments? Thanks.

Same for me. I mean, I am doing through EP, so since the file sizes were too big, I sent two different e-mails - one for AOS and for IV. This is good news :-)
