I just realized we didn't include an employment letter for either of us, myself or my dad who is my joint sponsor...

Still got the N/A, hope they don't slip a checklist in there anyway.

Well it is only been 4 business days since you sent first package...probably have not even look at your documents...I don't think any delays processing your case...I called about the physical address and they said it should not be an issue..because we answered the question before "is physical address the same as mailing address"...

Wow, I just realized that lines 22 and 37 have the exact same amount for me, for 2014, 2013, 2012 tax returns... i actually did look at adjusted total income when i filled out i864ez. But fortunately for me, it was the same amount as TOTAL INCOME!!! :D :D

Interestingly, the TOTAL income is not on the tax transcript. #7, total wages, etc is there, as well as Adjusted total income

Soooo i guess i don't need to send this revised form afer all... this is a miracle to me

Did you include your pay stubs? If so, that is all they really want. That's probably why you did not get the checklist.

(take the employment letters to interview just in case they ask for it)

Well my wife's employing letter didn't say what her position is. It only included when she started working and that she's full time and her hourly rate. Is the position really important in the letter to NVC? Will we end up with a checklist for this?

From what I heard from nvc multiple times, the employment letter was not needed and the pay stub would have been enough. However, since you provided it, I am hoping for your case they will disregard the employment letter. Hopefully the position on employment letter is not too different from the company position title. (This is why I opted not to send the employment letter. I did not approve with what they wrote, and I didn't want to waste time arguing to change it.)

Thanks! I see you got a case complete very quickly, so I'll go with what you did!

Just out of curiosity, did you have a joint sponsor? If so, what paperwork did you send (all 3 years taxes, employment letter, etc)?

USC abroad since 2007

Married French husband 2012

Bébé born 2014 - CRBA and US passport a few months later

Me + husband + bébé + cat all arrived safely in the US on January 25th

Visa process 2015

I-130 sent: June 2nd (delivered June 4th by Chronopost)

NOA1 received: June 8th via email, June 15th via post - California Service Center

NOA2 received: June 30th via email, July 7th via post

NVC received case: July 16th

NCV case number by phone: July 30th (assigned July 29th)

DS-261 completed online: July 31st

AOS Fee available/paid online: August 4th

AOS Fee shows as "PAID"; August 6th

DS-261 accepted by phone: August 19th

IV invoice received by mail: August 20th (late at night)

Called NVC to see if they got my stuff yet from CSC, and got through on my <20th try, and was on hold for only 10 minutes, and got the line about the 35 days.

I fear I've wasted my newbie get through quick call :( but I'll try again in a couple of days to see if they got it yet.

I think the only person they really care about is my dad since he is the real sponsor. I included 4 years worth of returns, W2, printout of the entire year's current payroll report for him that said every paycheck number, date, amount and taxes. So kind of like a pay stub but not an actual stub.

Also just called and confirmed CC as of today!!! She said now we are in line for the interview appointment to be made and she doesn't know how long that will take, but i already knew that.

Had a question about job letter. Since we need originals at the embassy stage...Do we send photocopies of the job letters or the originals for nvc..?

Is there a list of the originals you have to take with you to the interview? I know I need to send my husband an original of our marriage certificate since we were married here in the US and never thought to get a copy.

Will he need originals of the AOS and IV package I sent? Stuff that specifically has to do with me and my job/house/etc or does he only need originals of his own paperwork?

Guys! ATTENTION: NVC options have changed, make sure you listen to the options carefully. I'm on hold now but be careful the OPTIONS HAVE CHANGED!!!

Yup, forgot to mention this.

For my purposes i chose option 7, which used to be choosing no option to talk to next available agent. (Option 7 has the most knowledgable agents picking up, in my experience/opinion)

Thanks! I see you got a case complete very quickly, so I'll go with what you did!

Just out of curiosity, did you have a joint sponsor? If so, what paperwork did you send (all 3 years taxes, employment letter, etc)?

I don't have a joint sponsor. You just need to send the same paperworks that you have for the main sponsor. I sent my 3 years tax transcript and recent paystubs. So you need those paperworks for the joint sponsor too.
