Quick question about the ds-260, as a USC abroad with a USC child abroad as well:

For the questions "is your spouse/child immigrating to the US with you?" is the answer "yes"? As citizens, we're not technically immigrating, but we will all be moving together . . .

When you select no, the question is "are they immigrating at a later date to join you?" . . . So I'm just a little confused about what to answer.

Thanks!!

The answer is " No ".

Why ? Because you are not attending a visa to immigrate too.

The answer is no, US Citizens don't immigrate to the US.

I'm a USC abroad with a USC child abroad and I put yes.

That was the incorrect answer, you should've ticked no.

I submitted DS260 online on Aug. 12 and didn't get any mail after confirmation. Are they sending an email when they finish reviewing? Or they will send if u get checklist only?

I received an email the day after I submitted the DS260 which was a confirmation that it had been received. You might want to call them and just double check.

I submitted my DS-260 on 19th of August and I haven't received an email about it either. :(

Weirdly I have gotten emails about both my packages and for the letter I sent to get my husband's middle name corrected in their database.

Maybe I will call today. Do tell me what they are saying if you do manage to talk to the NVC people. :)

No I didn't get an email when we sent (emailed) the civil documents. However, a week later we received a checklist saying they reviewed our documents and asking me to renew my passport prior to the interview.

No case completed yet - really hoping it's today or tomorrow.
