Did you include case number in the subject line, along with everything else they ask for in the start of the email?

So on 08/25/2015 I decided to email an expedited request.

I figured even if CC is done in 20 days I'll have to wait at least 1-2 months before an interview date is assigned.

I haven't gotten a response back at all from NVC or the Consulate (if they've even emailed it to them)

You guys think that's normal? Or should I email the NVC Expedite email again?

I did, yes. I got a response from NVC Expedite saying they'll review it.

My concern right now is, I saw a member said they can review the DS-260 over the phone.

Is that true? Anyone have any information on that?

Thanks ...

Question - I noticed on another post you made that you said you can REVIEW the DS260 over the phone with the NVC?

Am I reading that correctly and understanding it? The actualy IV Application (Which I have obviously already submitted) CAN BE REVIEWED OVER THE PHONE with NVC?

1) Can it be done?

2) Can a rep do it or do I have to get transferred to a supervisor?

3) How long does it take?

4) The AOS/IV packages will have to still be processed of course after that right?

5) Will it throw the system off if I do that? Or let the officer who is reviewing the packets complete the DS260?

1- i called NVC , i told the representative that i want to talk directly to a supervisor, she said all the supervisors are busy now, she said ok then i will receive a call later by nvc . Exactly 30 mn after a supervisor call me back and stated that my case is complete right now. My scan date was April 22, Remember all my documents have been allready reviewed since may 21, i got a checklist for the ds260 missing on may 21. because I couldn't access to the ds260 until july 4th. I completed the ds260 on july 6th And finally i got CC on August 19th.

2-no . The representatives can only read info about your case in the system for you but they can't review or update anything in the case for you .

3- you will find this response in the answer 1-

4- my process became different because of the website issue . Everything must be reviewed , ok . AOS, Iv packages and ds260 .

5- did you have checklist for the ds260 missing ?

good luck!

make sure you have everything ready if they approve the expedite-- things move very quickly after that.

If you select the state in 2.e. then the country will be automatically populated as USA. You should not select the state. I have left the state and zipcode blank for my country India. I have typed state in the province and postal code and manually typed country in the country field. Please make sure you download the latest form from USCIS website i.e. www.uscis.gov

Make sure any form that you fill the form should not be expired. The expiry date is being given in the form at the top right corner of the first page. The current I-864 form on the website expiry date is 31st July 2017.

If the address is bigger than 2.b then you can manually write after print. If you can't write mannually if its bigger than 2a and 2b then you can use the last page of the form i.e. PART 11. Additional information.

Hi, I gotta say... waiting for the CC is the killer for me, since you don't know if you are getting a checklist. Once I get CC, I can relax a bit more... but in any case, I am sure waiting for the interview date would be very hard to go through.

Congrats!! I FINALLY have everything to send in, so hopefully the 3 week trend continues through September!

I'm sure the -20 days trend will continue as it seems the NVC has been picking up the pace in August.

If I have to give advice on organizing the AOS/IV package, make sure to...

1) Organize everything in the EXACT order that is listed on the Checklist cover sheet.

2) Provide labeled tabs dividing the "Financial Documents", "Supporting Documents", and "Other Documents" sections.

3) Include cover sheets explaining the contents of certain documents. For instance we provided cover sheets for my wife's police certificates, birth certificate, and our marriage certificate... basically explaining any documents that require English translations and apostle.

4) Included documentation for my birth certificate, passport, passport size photos, and relationship evidence all under the "Other Documents" section and included a cover sheet explaining the contents in this section.

5) Write your case number on the top right of EVERY document that you are sending in (excluding the bar coded cover sheets)

6) And of course don't underestimate the power of prayer!
