I don't know if I should feel happy or sad.

I applied together with my daughter. Both cases left the USCIS together, but somehow they got split within the NVC. As of now, I'm just waiting for my documents to be reviewed while my daughter's case is still stuck at DS-261. Every time we call, they say her case is locked and that they can't do anything about it. She is eight.

My husband called today to ask about her case - he got a really nice representative, who said it's right for him to be concerned that my case is all ready while my daughter's is still stalled.

She said she will send my daughter's case for Supervisor Review.

But in the moment he said that, I freaked out. I read some horror stories here about people who were put in Supervisor Review and because of that had their cases delayed in one, two months. My husband doesn't really lurk around Visa Journey, so he actually thought it was good news. I didn't have the heart of telling him that I'm worried now.

Maybe it is a good thing and I'm freaking out for no reason, but the last thing I need would be to have our cases stuck at NVC for much longer than they're supposed to be :cry:

Hi Sekhvaruli,

I know it sucks, my own case took 17 days from NOA2 to arrive at NVC.

Have you checked your case at the USCIS website? They usually update it and tell exactly when it was sent to NVC... it's not much, but at least will show you some progress.

2 weeks since the approval, but the case was not received by NVC yet :cry:

Try calling again Friday and Monday. Ours took about 15 days.

No update since the date of approval... Does this mean my case is still in USCIS?

I think so. But it takes long. My update only showed up 15 days after NOA2...
