Interesting isn't, because when you had called them they said they didn't receive it on 8/20, similar to what happened when I sent mine in. Urvashi has a jump on us by a week or so lol. My scan date is 8/19, only one day ahead of yours.

a 20 day CC is the goal now.

I don't know Shams. Additionally, we also have this thing where they've misspelled my husband's middle name. We sent in a photocopy of his passport and an official letter which was delivered to them on 21st. I called today and they told me they haven't received it, and like 20 minutes later I have an email from them saying they have it. Lol.

It's a crazy agency. Also the rep told me how they don't really concern themselves with the petitioner's name, and if they had th r beneficiary's name correctly, that is all they care about.

Still they will update it when they get a copy of my husband's passport. Gosh I hope all of those things are done soon. And we still get a case complete by 12th of September.

Yes, I did the I-864ez.

I sent what they asked for here: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents.html

I can give you more details once I get home from work. I added some things of my own to clarify and make sure they did not get confused. Apparently it worked.

Hello!

I've been stalking this thread all month and even though you're all strangers, everyone has been so helpful! Thank you all for sharing your journeys/questions, because I've learned a lot. I am now able to post my status and hopefully help some others with a timeframe for CR-1...

Ok! So, after receiving our NOA2 from CSC on July 30:

Now waiting for my payment to be processed to send AOS packet and pay IV bill.

Just wanted to provide another timeline for people to gauge! :)

So once the CC is there AND you get the case transferred to the embassy.

THAN the next step is medical and interview.

What does the beneficiary have to take with them? I want to send my spouse a copy of all the things I have and want to know if I should be sending anything specific?

I heard she needs confirmation of the DS-260 being submitted?

Can someone please list those items?
