I've submitted the DS-260 last week.

Whats the next step? Just sit and wait?

I have not yet received an email confirmation of my AOS/IV Packages which NVC received (According to USPS) on 08/20/2015.

I'm assuming in that email it will give me my scan date? Any idea how long it takes them to scan it?

I called the NVC to confirm they received my package. They told me one date, and then 2 days after it was received I got an e-mail from the NVC. Date received was as shown on my USPS tracking, which was 1 day earlier than what they said when I called the NVC.

I think you should get an e-mail tomorrow.

As for the next step, unfortunately waiting is involved.

Oh wow interesting ... I just got off the phone with them they said they received mail from me today 08/24/2015 and that I should be receiving an email in a day or two.

I'm assuming (obviously no email received yet) that the scane date than technically should be 08/24/2015?

would someone be so kind as to tell me where and how one find's out "after the 3 N/A's show up"

Thank you!! : )

Good question. I remember reading somewhere on here about looking for the three N/A's which indicates that your case is complete and to call to confirm. I know when the AOS fee changes to N/A is one, but I am not sure on what the other two are... I'm thinking it's the IV fee and the IV Application... can anyone elaborate?

Also will the "Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence" and the "Civil Documents" status ever change from "N/A" to something else?

but, where does one go, what link? on CEAC? does one have to "sign in" and where does one go from there?

Here is the link to the CEAC website: https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

You will need to enter your case number and invoice ID number.

K & V. Here is what I found on this site when I did a search re the 3 "N/As"

These are 2 N/A beside AOS and one beside IV on the CEAC summary page. From what I have heard from others here, AOS fee changing from Paid to N/A (after IV fee has been paid and all docs have been sent) indicates Case Complete at NVC (99% of the time).

K & V, here is a better explanation............

The three N/As will be shown in the summary information when you click on the CEAC website. If am not mistaken this summary will show after you fill out the Visa application since you will only have one time to do it. After that it will show you what you have done and no longer bring up the visa application, You should have a N/A under Civil Documents when you turn those in, You should have a N/A under Affidavit of Support and Financial Evidence, and last but not least under Affidavit of Support it will say Paid, when this goes from Paid to N/A call NVC it means you have a case complete.

It took 4 days for me. I sent the package August 15 and they scanned it August 19. I got the email after my husband called. Try to call NVC and ask if they have scanned your package or not.

Oops.. I replied to your previous post without reading this. Yes, I think it should be August 24.

We're on the same boat now. Waiting for 30 days review. Pray for the best!
