We had answered "Yes" and went to the US authorized medical center and got the deficient vaccinations. You need to call them and take appointment.

Hi Everyone,

On DS-260 form there is a question like this.

Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with US law?

Yes/No answer. If you say No then you need to explain. If you say yes we need to provide documentation. My spouse lives outside the USA and I am filing for her. She never came to USA. What should we write and prvoide for this? Please advise.

My spouse is outside USA. I am in the process of filing DS-260 now. I will submit DS-260 in a day. Do we need to wait to take medical exam till we receive the interview letter?

When exactly the beneficiary can go for medical exam?

Thanks.

I believe you need to go after scheduling the appointment.

The embassy can tell you when and where you can do the medical exam. I think you can answer yes to the question, because you only need to show documentation to interviewer.

Someone correct me if im wrong

If you guys have any questions specifically for me,

I will be glad to help via private message.

if your case # begins with BMB then you can check out Mumbai consulate instructions and find the phone number to call about medical exam and this question.

Does the cover letter written by us (not the barcode one) for AOS and IV package documents need to be signed? If so does it needs to be signed by the Petitioner or Beneficiary or Agent?

Thanks.

Hi maniput,

My IV fee is available for paying, so yours probably will be too!

Yes! I just woke up and got a message from my husband saying he already paid the IV fee. Thank you for remembering me. :)

How about your daughter's case? Were you able to pay it together?

I sent AOS/Civil Documents package yesterday for both wife and stepchild, 2 separate envelopes. Since I did not have the document cover sheet nvc sends by mail...I used the aos cover sheet, but did not create a cover letter to specify the documents I am sending...did any of you created a cover letter? did you use sticky pads to separate all documents? birth c./marriage/pcc?

We did create the cover letters. Did not use the sticky pads though.

From what I understand, document cover letters are not compulsory. But, it is good to have them. It gives them an idea as to what documents are where so they can find them easily. I don't think your in for a checklist or anything for not including a cover letter though.

Thanks.

Well, we did sign both the letters, but since my husband wrote both cover letters he's the one who signed both.

Oh, he's the petitioner. Do not know anything about an agent though.

We got approved on August 13th. I guess, I've tried to get through to NVC last night, but it was useless - the message would repeat "due to the high volume of calls... call back later". So, I guess, I should try again on Monday. I'll call at 7 am first thing!

No telling when USCIS will send your approved I-130 to NVC. However, I don't think NVC has gotten it has yet. It may be a week or two before USCIS sends it to NVC. Keep us updated with what you find.
