Hi, I am wondering if anyone has experienced this before. Yesterday my husband called NVC regarding IV fee that hasn't been invoiced yet and they said they have reviewed our DS-261 and will process the IV bill (We have paid AOS fee and sent out AOS & IV package). Now, I just checked CEAC page, there is no name at all under applicant name for IV Application Processing Fees, where it was my name and my birth year before. The total amount selected is also $0. It was not invoiced before. Am I just being paranoid? Or is NVC processing my IV fee at the moment?

Hi maniput,

I am going through the exactly same thing - my husband got the DS-261 reviewed on the phone yesterday too and now my IV fee looks as $0.

I am hoping they will update it and let us pay this still today...

By the way, NVC couldn't review the DS-261 for my daughter on the phone yesterday - her IV fee still looks as "NOT INVOICED". We're hoping they can do it today so our cases will be approved together.

Hi BRlove,

Thanks for replying. So it's not only me then. Probably NVC is processing our IV fee. Hopefully that's the case.

It's a hassle if they don't approve your cases together. Maybe you can call them again and ask to review your daughter's DS-261.

Guys I just remembered something.

On my I-864EZ I wrote down my employers information but for second employer I didn't write anything.

I have a very small part time employment as a care taker, I did however send the tax transcripts, W2's and 1040's.

Do you think this will cause a problem or become an RFE?

I hope not. I thought the intent was to show evidence of the amount of money you make. You meet the intent. Can't put anything pass the NVC but I think a call to them should resolve that. If it comes up a written response should suffice.

Do you think I'll open up a can of worms if I call them to straighten that out or just ride it out?

Something tells me if you tried to call they would tell you that they need 30 days to review lol. I don't think you would open up a can of worms. At the very least they may say no big deal (hopefully somebody who knows what they are talking about).

Hi Everyone,

On DS-260 form there is a question like this.

Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with US law?

Yes/No answer. If you say No then you need to explain. If you say yes we need to provide documentation. My spouse lives outside the USA and I am filing for her. She never came to USA. What should we write and prvoide for this? Please advise.

My opinion, and what I've done in the past for someone else, is this:

Answer yes if you are planning to do the medical exam. For the medical exam, she may receive the vaccinations that she may be missing.

Reach out to the embassy for their opinion on this question
