CC was 7/20 and we haven't received the CC email until now...nearly a month later. called on August 7 and the rep said she'd "put in an email request," but didn't say when we'd receive it...I assumed it would be the standard 1 week (which should have been 8/14). still nothing. Is there any point to continue to pester them for it? They've confirmed CC twice over the phone and we have 3 N/As on the CEAC site.

As everyone knows, calling and calling and calling is incredibly tedious and if the CC email isn't so important, I'd rather give up on getting it and just continue to wait for the interview date email (which I don't expect for another month at the earliest ).

I am waiting on an interview date , been waiting since the middle of April for the embassy in Amman Jordan to schedule it ... Anyone here in my same situation ?

Hey guys!

So my AOS fee is now showing as PAID and I got the young man at NVC yesterda 08/17/2015 to complete a verbal DS-261 (COA).

He said I'd receive an email in about 5-7 days with an IV payment invoice.

I know a few people (including Shams) said they receive the IV incvoice on CEAC the following day.

This is very weird though my beneficiaries name has dissapeared and now nothing is shown there. Take a look at the attachement please.

Oh nothing to worry about. The same thing happened to me and 1.5 days later I got an email with IV fee invoice.

Also you should know that even after you get the email, online it won't be available for another day or something. So keep checking!

I apologize if I shared some erroneous information. I was able to have them confirm my DS-261 on 8/10, I received the IV invoice on 8/12, and was able to pay it on 8/13. I did call after receiving the IV invoice because the letter was dated 8/11. It was a bit worrying for me to receive an email dated the previous day and not be able to pay it right then and there. It took a little time but it came.

Haha. Don't mention it. I know how intimidating this whole process can be. I often have questions about the littlest things, and when someone can respond and clear it up for you, it feels so good. A lot of people have done it for me on visa journey.

This platform is so great though. I wouldn't have gotten even half of the stuff done were it not for visa journey.

So on DS-260 they asked for my current place of residence and then they ask "From date".

Now I have been living here ever since I was born. So do I just put the month and year of my birth or should I put the year for when I was sixteen?

Because they have written in teeny tiny font "Date at the age sixteen".

Has anyone else noticed this while they filled out their DS-260?

I didn't like this section in the application. It is my understanding that it would be from when you were born.

If you have lived somewhere else then that date at age 16 would come into play, that is if you have lived anywhere else from when you were 16 years old.

2. As a female spouse do I still fill up my MAIDEN NAME.

I didn't like this section in the application. It is my understanding that it would be from when you were born.

If you have lived somewhere else then that date at age 16 would come into play, that is if you have lived anywhere else from when you were 16 years old.

I hope I understood it correctly.

Alright, so maybe I will just put my birth year since I haven't lived anywhere else since I was born.

urvashi on the address i would suggest to put date of your birth as start date. nvc can easily be confused and you don't want to add anything for them to elongate your timeline.
