A case number was assigned on July 23 and I submitted DS261 on July 30 but still I cant sign in to the payment portal to pay AOS fee.....is there anything I should do other than waiting....???

Meanwhile, You can start collecting the documents you will need to send in AOS and IV packages if you have not started so already

We just filed on July 28th and received our NOA1 on July 31st. So we're very early in the process. Nebraska is handling my case and according to recent timelines, I may receive the NOA2 in about a month (if all goes well).

Or am I being too optimistic?

How long is it taking everyone to get a confirmation CC email from NVC after the 3 N/A's show up?

I've seen other people mention 3 N/A's before. What do you mean by that? Are you talking the 3 N/A's on the consular website??

It is highly unlikely that your petition would be approved within a month. Think somewhere between 4 and 6 months. Also, this thread is for people who have already had their petitions approved and are now going through the NVC process. Check and see of there is a thread for filers from your month.

Paid IV bill on July 27 and the DS260 became available yesterday. Hoping to submit that tomorrow. Emailed the AOS and IV packets on July 27 as well. Dare we hope for a case complete this month?!? Fingers crossed!!

Side note do I need to call to confirm they received the emails? Or do I get an email letting me know and confirming the official scan date.

hey guys i got 2 emails its AOS and IV conformation page on Friday and one on Saturday its DS-260 conformation my scan date is 7/16 and still waiting for CC is this normal that u get those email ?

My i130 case was approved, but my i129f has an RFE..july 30th. Do I need to follow through with i129f or let it expire?

Also do I wait a week before calling NVC twice a week until case number is assigned?

Hi, wadodude, it took 7 days for NVC to receive our case, and 10 days for a case number to be assigned. Give it a week to 2 weeks and you can start calling.
