From AP 221g now stuck on READY

Hi. Just updating every post I ever made regarding my process. On jan 26 the embassy requested the medical and passport. I will keep everyone posted.

Wow, that's long AP. Since they now asked for the passport and a new medical, I would think that means they're ready to issue the visa. Fingers crossed for you.

^{Great News, after waiting for several months (221g/requested docs/handed in August 14, 2014), finally on Jan 27, 2016, the ceac.state.gov changed to Administrative Processing (it said Refused). This a sign of things to come. A call was made from the Embassy to my husband's sister in Dominican Republic (contact # registered) with a set of following instructions. This followed by an email with an instruction letter: The following documents are needed in order to complete the process (Passport, New Medical Exam, and New Police Certificate). After all was set and done (my husband pickup today the results of the Medical Exam and along with the New Police Certificate & Passport). He also delivered them to the Embassy. I have heard through other groups, that after handing in such, it will take an additional 5-10 days for the Visa to be Issued and sent in package to be pick up. Wish us Luck!}
