Documents/permission letters needed for K2 Visa

Timeline

I was wondering what permission letters or documents are needed when it comes to my kids K2 visa's? I am divorced with joint custody however primary residence is with me. TIA

Met in person for first time ~ 08 May 2014

Got engaged officially (like down on one knee) ~ 13 March 2015

Application sent ~ 16 March 2015

K1 approved ~ 11 March 2016

Married ~ 24 April 2016

You will need a notarized letter from the other parent that clearly states they will allow the child(ren) to immigrate to the US, permanently reside there and to come back to the home country to visit and then return again to the US.

This is considered a deal breaker and it is suggested to obtain this BEFORE you file any petition.

We have discussed this indepth and he is happy to give me the letter i was just wondering if there is specific wording or format that needs to be followed or if there is a specific form that needs to be filled out.
