My Fiance's name in her passport is "Last Name: Pitt" and Given name is "Angelina Jennifer" where Angelina is her first name and Jennifer her middle name but her Birth Certificate just has Initials of her last and middle name something like "Angelina P J".

Its a big process to correct/expand name on her birth certificate and her interview will be very soon, is this a problem? Anyone has any info on cases like these.

Most of her legal documents also has "Angelina P J" including her voter id, college transcripts. We did mention on her GS 325A and I129F on the other names used space.

Thank you

I don't know whether there will be problem or not but you can get a Affidavit from their parents and Uncle stating this is her full name and where is born and also if you could find the hospital where she was born the hospital people will give you certificate that she was born in that hospital. If the visa office asks all these questions she show the proofs.

If google online you will find lot of affidavit formats so you can alter them and submit it.

Hey, was this an issue with USCIS? I have a similar issue with the certificate and passport.

How did you resolved it?
