VISA VALIDITY

Just want to know the validity of fiance visa from the day it was issued? From what I've red last time it says 6 months validity, does it mean I can still stay in my own country first within 6 months before going to US? But what is written on my passport VISA issued 1 JULY valid til 13 NOV 2015? Thanks

6 months from the date of the medical. You have until 13 nov to enter the u.s.

OK so that means you need to enter the US thus activating the visa prior to the 13th of November. The validity is usually tied to the validity of the medical as your medical needs to be valid for when you enter the US.

I would not wait until as late as the 13th of November but you could safely wait until the end of October. (You don't want a silly mistake causing you to not be able to fly prior to the expiry because you waited until the 12th of November and are now stuck)

I waited until almost the end of my visa validity prior to entering on my K1 visa.
