Does the case status change to "sent to the Department of State" when it is sent to NVC? My case status still says "Case was approved on June 30" Still waiting for my case #. NVC says they have not received it yet. Trying to determine if USCIS has actually sent it.

Yep like deathfire's pic above...CSC is erratic abbot how long it takes some take up to six weeks others take two.

Based on this information - my case has been approved for 30 days and they still have not sent it to NVC and I have not received NOA2. I did receive the text and email on June 30 that it was approved on June 30. What can I do to get CSC to send this to NVC?

This happens alot unless it's been 60 days or more they're not going to listen to anything you say. They're just going to tell you to wait that's why I said earlier they're erratic on sending them. One persons took less than a week others take nearly two months.

My NOA2 was June 29th from CSC, and we still don't have an NVC case number. It's been 32 days as of today. I've called many times these past couple of weeks, and it's always a similar response - "it usually takes at least 35 days for cases to show up in our system..." Yesterday I called again and pressed for a little more information. I told them I know of other people who have received their case numbers in under two weeks, so why was mine taking so long? I asked if there was any logic to the order they come from the service centers, and the operator said "I'm not privy to that information." Then I asked if there was anything else I could do at this point, and he basically said no. He said they don't start taking additional steps to find an approved case until it's closer to 2 months past the NOA2 notice date. So annoying and frustrating!

We wer aproved around the same time. I received our approval text on June 30 saying the petition was approved June 30. Did you receive a hard copy NOA2? I still have not received the hard copy. I called USCIS - they say do not have my petition. NVC says they do not have my petition. if neither place has it then where is it?? I will call NVC again late this afternoon. If they still do not have it I will be calling my congress woman Tuesday morning for assistance.

Yes, I received my hard copy NOA2 around July 10th. Yesterday I sent an email to the NVC using their "Public Inquiry Form" asking for the status of my case. I doubt it will be of much help, but we'll see. I will also call them again in a couple of days.
