I did send the documents required ( Financial/Supporting documents) with the AOS APPLICATION yesterday. Today, I found out that I also need to send a copy of my (PETITIONER) passport.I only sent my husbands (BENEFICIARY) copy of passport and I also didnt wrote a letter stating why I cant give a copy of my passport as required. I became a US citizen June 2015 and I didnt apply for a passport. Now that they received the packet that i sent yesterday. WHAT SHOULD I DO? SHOULD I SEND A PHOTOCOPY OF MY OLD PASSPORT SINCE I DONT HAVE A US PASSPORT YET? IM AFRAID IT MIGHT CAUSE SOME DELAYS IN PROCESSING MY HUSBANDS PAPERS.

If you already included a copy of your naturalization certificate with that request then you should be fine.

The petitioner's passport (US or otherwise) or naturalization certificate is not required for the AOS or IV package.
