How can I Notify Change of Address of the Beneficiary

Hi,

I had sponsored my mother a few months ago and have recently been notified by NVC that they are processing our case and sending it to the Embassy in Islamabad to be scheduled for an interview. I wanted to know if anybody has information on how to place a request for a change of address of the beneficiary(my mother) in Pakistan. Since she resides in a newly developed residential area, the street numbers have been changed and I don't want unnecessary delays in correspondence with the embassy.

if you are the petitioner and your address has not changed ,or its updated with NVC ,you are OK.,cuz you will recieve the same package as mother will receive on her residence on the record address , it happened to me too. my address was not changed as petitioner , so I received every single document my mother received in Pakistan.

then I act as an agent for mom, and ask NVC to send all documents to me instead of Pakistan, ( you will receive a form , from NVC to act as an agent) . then I fill fax and scan documents to my mom , and also sign up foe email too, so you will be updated, what document NVC sending in mail and when.

if you change address with NVC ,yours or your mom`s ,it will definitely delay the process.

I guess your mother`s case is beyond NVC stage ,its in embassy, so the embassy will send the passport back, to a collection location, she can just go and get it from there, showing her ID

Thank You for your reply Karachiite. The reason I asked was because her case has just been processed by NVC and sent to Islamabad embassy. Now my concern is that with the interview letter the beneficiary(my mother), probably would receive a package regarding her medical which she is supposed to get done and take to the interview. If she doesn't receive any correspondence due to change in address, it may delay the case unnecessarily.
