Congrats! What a relief!

Mine was submitted several days later than yours. Hope I can hear the good news very soon!

just got a call from lawyer office that I have been approved for ROC. I am a late August almost september filer.

I am Vermont.

This was a waiver case.

I did not get any RFE or Interview.

I was expecting a hell or trouble since my angry ex had been calling them and sending mail to damage the case.

here is my timeline. There was no update on the online system.

If they do not approve the application until september, do I need to get some type of confirmation from them extending the Visa status until they do it? And also if so, do I need to go to USCIS office or they automatically do it?

That's great news. I am the only other divorce waiver VSC filer listed. Hoping to get something in the mail any day now. Did your lawyer call USCIS or get some notification via email or mail?

I am a august filer to. I recently moved and updated my new address with Uscis and also requested usps mail forwarding. I heard that even though we update our new address with uscis they sometimes send letters to old address lol. I am little worried if that would be our case unfortunately because I noticed that usps mail forwarding is not working perfectly

either (they missed some of our mails)

if I call uscis customer service, would they know if I am approved or rfe? or would they just read off the same uscis case status which I can see from their website?

We'd filed an AR-11 recently and when we were at the USCIS service center to get my wife's i-551 stamp they said you have to call after filing an AR-11 to make sure it actually takes effect in a timely manner. According to them things may still get sent to your previous address otherwise.

I am an August filer, Vermont Service Center.

After looking at my caste status on their official website for days and days and observing no change at all, I called USCIS and spoke to a Tier 2 Officer who happened to be a very nice gentleman. I provided my full name, date of birth and current address. I was told that my case has been approved as of 06/03/2016 but I may have to allow 2 weeks to receive any correspondence from them. A breath of fresh air and such a relief but still no change in the online status and even though I have signed up for text and email notifications, I have received none.

I will update my timeline once I receive an actual confirmation.

IF you are an August filer and if you do not receive any confirmation then you should not wait till September. 2 or 3 weeks before you extension expires (That would be the date on your NOA1 letter of receipt which extends your visa for one year), you need to make an info pass appointment with your local USCIS office and get your passport stamped. Without that, you will have no other proof of your legal residency in the United States.

Congratulation! Great news! Please guys, update the charts with August Vermont and California fillers. I have tried a couple of times but could not figure out how to do it. With Musashii approval we already have quite a few August Vermont approvals.

hey if I call the USCIS customer service, do I ask for Tier 2 officer? I just spoke to someone on the customer service and she only asked for receipt number, and checked the status for me which i can see for myself on the website. She did not ask further for birthday, address etc. I even asked what address she has on the system <since i recently moved and updated my new address previously> she told me she cannot give any personal information over the phone. I can only do that through local USCIS office... sigh

How did you end up talking to Tier 2 officer? can I ask for it?
