Hi joonphon,

Looks like our approval dates and card mailing dates are same. Did you get any tracking number for the card? It says "Card was mailed with today's date" in USCIS website but no USPS tracking number. Is it showing the same for you or did you get a USPS tracking number? Please let me know.

Hi SS24,

We just received the letter stating that our application has approved and the green card will be mailed w/in 60 days. No tracking number or anything. When I checked my case status on USCIS website, it states "On February 18, 2016, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXXXX" and to call if we don't receive it by March 19th, 2016.

ss24, just chiming in: I received the "your card was mailed" update on Friday and did not get the tracking number update until Tuesday, which was the day the USPS picked up my card.

My theory is that the "card was mailed" update is being sent when the card leaves the production department and is ready for being mailed, and that the tracking number update is being sent when the card has actually left USCIS and is on the way.

You guys I have a silly question!

I'm still waiting for my approval but I'm moving and have to change the address. Went to the USCIS website and started the process, but it asks me to select my form number.

My notice shows I751-CRI89. I selected the I751 but the system says it's not the correct form number accosted with my case but down the list theres no CRI89.

Any thoughts?

One last question, did you need to present physically to sign and receive the card or did they just drop it in the mailbox? I am travelling next week for work so thought of checking with you.. during AOS, no signature was needed and hoping that it is same process for this one as well.

Please add my case, I saw people around my time are getting approved and started to get a bit worried. I called uscis customer service No several times and all I got is the case is still pending. Anyone in the same boat?>

It's OK to be impatient at this point, but there's nothing to actually worry about: They're obviously processing the cases in batches, and you along with people who've filed even earlier than you in early August are probably just among an unluckier batch...

Besides, there're still 40% of July 2015 filers left, but for those of you, like me, whose cases are still pending, please start filing phone and/or online inquiries: the more people bug them, the more likely it is for them to speed up.

I filed a phone inquiry with a Tier 2 customer service rep last Tuesday, and I was told I'd receive a response via mail within 15 days. I'd been trying to file an e-request too, but USCIS' website kept telling me it was still within processing time when it wasn't, but after they updated their processing time table, an e-request finally went through, and it told me automatically that I'd hear something back by March 4.
