You can sign up for e-mail/text update when you have an account with USCIS's website; the account can remember your case number so you don't have to enter it all the time, but when it comes to I-751, we receive no update anyway until the case is approved--not even for RFE as confirmed by a July filer. Also, someone from July has said a person he or she knows got the approval by mail with no prior online status update...

Did you guys have to go through interview process?

I've been trying to submit an e-request since last weekend, but it still says the case is within processing time, even though it's been over 6 months... I called their customer service, I was transferred to a tier 2 officer but only to have him tell me that it's only Beyond processing time when it's more than a year and then hang up on me rudely...

Hi all Aug filters,

I was so happy to receive the notification from text msg and e-mails from USCIS yesterday on Feb 8, 16 for the account update. I checked my account and it said, "New Card Is Being Produced, On February 8, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC15222xxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

It has been almost 6 months for the waiting. My application was received on Aug 10, 2015. Its a good news for all Aug filters whose applications were received by USCIS at CSC around Aug 10, 2015. Now my worry is gone away and I can sleep well. I dont have to check the status of my receipt number every single minute anymore. Feel relax ^---^

So I called again today, got transferred to a nicer tier 2 officer, and he submitted an inquiry for me, but of course the wait for a response is 2 weeks unless the inquiry can get my cases looked at by an actual person sooner...

P.S. I believe this officer at a moment thought I was my own attorney because I don't have an evident accent, so besides verifying my name, address, and DOB, he also asked me for my parents' name...
