Anyone been in administrative processing due to missing document?

Husband had a missing document at interview. Was told to send it in with his passport. Ceac status says administrative processing. Has anyone had this happen to them due to a missing document? Is this normal?

Not sure if it's normal but it happened to us. We had to send in an updated NBI clearance and marriage contract on NSO paper. We were in AP for 52 days, interview was June 1 in Manila, Visa issued July 23 and now waiting on delivery. Pray...
