Just this past weekend AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT UNLISCENSED, DRUNK DRIVER plowed into 4 cars on a California freeway Killing 2 inuring several others. THIS HAPPENS DAILY! The minimal benefit they provide is nothing compared to the crime, and cost they bring to American LEGAL RESIDENTS & CITIZENS.

This happens every day-amazingly enough there are plenty of AMERICAN CITIZENS guilty of this as well-where's the info on them? Because I'll be honest, when I hear about something like that it pisses me off to the point where someone's immigrant status is the LAST thing on my mind.

Yes, I agree we have enough criminals in our own soicety so Why should we allow illegal immigrants adding to those numbers.

It only hurts our resources that go towards protecting our communities from other crime, Illegal Criminal Aliens contribute to this, only it is worse becasue they simply flee back over the border and never have to answer for their crimes.

I am not saying all crime is comited by illegal immigrants, I am sayingh by not securing or border, and by allowing them to stay we are only making problems worse, US GOVT resopurces should be spent on policing its own people instead now we get to deal with Illegals commiting the same crimes, often worse involving drugs Gang affiliations. And they are here Illegally so have no record or way of identifying them so they are never brought to justice.

I'm very sorry I offended you on a personal level. BUT it doesn't mean we have to ignore the fact that by doing thing illegally, doesn't matter who, will have great impact and consequence which one must pay, me or you. Stepping on your toes, no i dare not, but stating thing for what it that I will.

Why do you want information on the American with DUI? Those americans are being taken care by their own government and laws of the United States of America, whereas the illegal immigrants can just walk away, or give them a "one way ticket" to send them to their origin country so they just come right back the second they are released.

It's common knowledge, not all crimes are felonies.

Protection and benefits huh? Now I know you don't know what you're talking about so we can end this argument now. The only protection and benefits I've ever seen given to an illegal (one was my husband) is a one way ticket outta here after he spent a month in jail I could go on and on about how it pisses me off that so many people can get their mail order brides over here in a matter of months whereas I can't get my husband here. You see because in MY mind, he has much more of a right to be here than them, since he's coming for the right reasons. But see that would be inappropriate. I just wish people would think about these things before you go calling my husband a felon (he's not) and wishing that the laws won't be passed (which will hopefully be passed) making it about 75% more likely that he'll be coming home in 2008 as opposed to 2009.

Your Husband entered the country illegally and rightfully, justice was served and he was deported! I only wish justice was this swift with potential terrorists ro drug smugglers or all the other Illegal Immigrants. I am sorry it was your husband however he Viloated a FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAW and was dealt with the way ALL ILLEGAL FEDERAL LAW VILOTAORS should be dealt with.

I have No sympathy for anyone who willingly, knowingly, intentionally compromises the security of the USA, I have No sympathy for anyone who STEALS from the children of USA, or who violates federal laws of the USA for Their own SELFISH gain. Laws should NOT be Past to accomodate those here illegally. i hope your husband will be with you soon so long as he enters legally, does NOT work with out authorization, pays fines and goes through the process LEGALLY.

Thank you for proving another point, They must be breaking the law if they are in Jail, so ( what "right Reasons" bring thme here and allow them to violate any law,

Jailing a criminal does not mean that justice is served, often they are released back into society and their crime Spreads like cancer. they dissappear with no way of finding them and never shouw up to be arraigned. Justice is when they are found to be here illagally and deported.

By the way one does not just get deported when found to be here illegally they usually is another crime committed.

On that point sir, you are correct. There is USUALLY another crime committed. Not ALWAYS. In our case, it was a situation of a couple of pissed off guys that were fired because they skipped a day of work. Therefore, they reported the restaurant to INS. At the same time, the owner of the restaurant was under investigation by the IRS because he had just gotten done purchasing a very large house and several vehicles with cash. There was a raid on the restaurant-and actually those kinds of things are becoming more and more common.

Ah... I see! I was wrong by calling the illegal immigrants and aliens are felons based the letter of the immigration laws, the very laws that those illegal aliens have broke! So if the glove doesn't fit, you must quit! I see! Chuck, do you know any of them personally? I consider my husband and all of his friends to be very good hearted people. They come from a place where they had nothing. It's been hard for me to come to the realization that my husband's family lives in poverty, but they do. When it was the choice between high school and work, they picked work because school you have to pay for down there. I still am in regular contact with a lot of his friends who still work here in various restaurants and everyone loves them. Even my dad, who is one of the strictest judges of character that I know.
