mawilson,

You ke it sounds as if Civil offense is nothing serious. It is a CRIME to enter my country ILLEGALLY buddy! Last time I check, what is felony: Felonies are considered the most serious types of crimes, and each state has different punishments for these offenses. A standard definition of a felony is any crime punishable by more than one year in prison or by death for capital offenses like first-degree murder. Unlike misdemeanors, defendants convicted of felonies serve their sentences in a state or federal prison rather than a local, city or county jail. Additional criminal procedures apply with felonies, and the right to a court-appointed lawyer if the defendant can’t afford one is one of the rights guaranteed in felony cases. Also, whether or not the defendant has to appear in court for various parts of the criminal justice process also depends on whether or not he or she is being charged with a felony.

Whatever happens, these illegal immigrants are FELONS. We have enough home-grown felons here, why put up with the imported. You can be clever with your words and call those illegal immigrants what you want (undocumented migrants???), they are entered my country Illegally and do not deserve any rights/benefits provided by my tax dollar. Those businesses who do business with felons need to be punished, and as a consumer/taxpayer, I did stop using BOA for this reason.

They are not felons - because as the law currently stands, entering this country without inspection is not a felony.

That's what the debate in Congress was about - whether or not to change the law.

Yes I will stop shopping in grocery stores where they employ these felons.

Cellphones? Why wouldn't I use my cellphone? Give me a convincing fact why I shouldn't use my cellphone.

Buying car? In fact we just bought a brand new SUV. So that answers your question.

Then why even bother to capture these "non-felons", and again, why would we want to keep them in jail, and spending my tax dollar to feed them, house them, catv and medical treatment? Where my LEGAL immigrant wife has to pay for her medical insurance, rent, CATV, foods. I understand it is COOL to stand up for the ILLEGAL immigrants because they are poor and do no harm to you. Simply wrong to get the american tax payers to accept their ILLEGAL activity. I want my fairshare of ####### from the USCIS to bring my wife here, why should I deny the fact of these illegal immigrants are FELONS where they BROKE the laws of my country.

Bottomline is, BOA gets no business from me because of their business decision to support the felons!

You just answered your own question. Indeed -- there is no good reason to spend our

tax dollars to keep these people in prison when they could be contributing their own tax

dollars into the system.

why should I deny the fact of these illegal immigrants are FELONS where they BROKE the laws of my country.

You can keep calling them felons but it won't make it true.

Don't like the law? Want to make it a felony to enter the U.S without inspection?

Great - write a letter to your congressman and tell him how you feel.

Thank you mawilson, I did write to my congressman and senator. No need to jail them, kick them out. Get back in line like we did! Apply for Visa, like we did! Wait like we did!

Heina

Can't change the fact of the matter by telling me "they are not felons". Common sense: do we have immigration rule/law in America? Yes! You break our immigration laws/rules, what will that make you? Felons! It does matter to me where my tax dollars are spent to build a freaking walls to stop these felons from coming in my country, it does matter to me where my tax dollars are spent to house/jail them and provide unnecessary medical treatment to them everyday. It does matter to me where we don't have that many high paying jobs with benefits where employers just hire these "felons" for a day or two, then get new ones at lower rates. It does matter Heina! And I am worried for my LEGAL immigrant wife who wants to know why we provide more protection and benefits to these people who illegally come and stay in America. It does matter, and it does suck to live a life where felons get more benefits and protection than the legally immigrants.

You have to be kidding me, So many argue that life in America would stop, or that we would not be able to afford groceries, or to eat because the "benefit " Criminal Illegal Immigrants allow.

Even if a bag of grapes went up to 5.00 the money tax payers would save would 10X the amount we pay day to day from services provided by the Felon Illegal Criminals.

Just this past weekend AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT UNLISCENSED, DRUNK DRIVER plowed into 4 cars on a California freeway Killing 2 inuring several others. THIS HAPPENS DAILY! The minimal benefit they provide is nothing compared to the crime, and cost they bring to American LEGAL RESIDENTS & CITIZENS.

Protection and benefits huh? Now I know you don't know what you're talking about so we can end this argument now. The only protection and benefits I've ever seen given to an illegal (one was my husband) is a one way ticket outta here after he spent a month in jail probably amongst child rapists and people like that. Believe me at that point I would have GLADLY paid for his plane ticket if it meant he didn't have to be there wasting your precious tax dollars. Amazingly enough, despite being so flat broke that I had to move out of my apartment and into my grandma's basement, my taxes still don't bother me. They're actually the least of my worries. Sorry that you're feeling such a crunch-you must be paying different taxes than me. Of course if I sit down and think about it I tend to look at the grand scheme of things and see how my tax dollars benefit EVERYONE who receives benefits in this country, and don't look at it on a person-to-person basis which I bet, if you would do the math, doesn't come out to very much per person. As we in accounting would say, immaterial. Maybe not on the grand scale, but in terms of how it DIRECTLY affects me, immaterial. I wish people would just be careful of whose toes they are stepping on. I could go on and on about how it pisses me off that so many people can get their mail order brides over here in a matter of months whereas I can't get my husband here. You see because in MY mind, he has much more of a right to be here than them, since he's coming for the right reasons. But see that would be inappropriate. I just wish people would think about these things before you go calling my husband a felon (he's not) and wishing that the laws won't be passed (which will hopefully be passed) making it about 75% more likely that he'll be coming home in 2008 as opposed to 2009.

This happens every day-amazingly enough there are plenty of AMERICAN CITIZENS guilty of this as well-where's the info on them? Because I'll be honest, when I hear about something like that it pisses me off to the point where someone's immigrant status is the LAST thing on my mind.

Mawwilson. what you fail to admit is that these ILLEGAL CRIMINAL IMMIGRANTS, DO NOT PAY into the system they take from, they do Not pay auto insurance, or health insurance, as a result American LEGAL immigranst/ Citizens pay higher premiums.

ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIENS do not pay personal property Tax they do not help the public education system instead they hurt our childrens education by lowering the standards.

THEY DO NOT PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE of Income taxes, mostly paid in Cash under the table or use fake/ stolen id's tob tain employememnt defrauding the Govt. of Billions/ year

ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS are Criminals the miniute they cross the border illegally, and majority of those commit felonies drusmuggling , violent criminal acts, such as rape , murder.

They are Criminals who violate federal Laws which make them criminals, that do nothing for our society yet they take Billions/ year from our elderly, our children, or middle and lower class.

Those who advocate such activity have no right to citizenship or legal residancy because lack of respect for the laws of our nation

A majority of illegal aliens are felons? What is your source for that?
