You can't get a term life on him without him knowing, they draw blood. The "No medical" term lifes are terrible.

I think we should up the Dane's at some point too. It's enough to cover the first 3 years of lost wages, but doesn't account for other expenses and me probably needing to finish school and the childcare expenses associated with that.

The amount and term of a life insurance policy, or an estate, should cover the kids till they're standing on their own 2 feet.

That is about it here too, house gets paid off then maybe 4 years. But that was the plan before 2 little ones made their appearance. He doesn't believe me about the amount we really need.
