Perfect rant....

So, I've been going to this Chinese take out for 10 years. I know them on a first name basis. I set up their kids 529 accounts for them. That's the background.

Tonight, they screwed up an order. Instead of chicken and broccoli, they gave me boneless spare rib.

I call them, and the woman argued the point to death with me, swearing that that's not what my friend ordered. I was sitting next to him when he ordered.

After several minutes of debate, I said "Leona, you know you're talking to Steve, right?"

She said yes, she knows.

I said; "why are we even having this conversation? Are you kidding me?"

At which time, she said "ok, I'll change it for you"

I said; "you know what? Forget it!"

How stupid of a business person is this woman?

Once a customer stops coming, he's never coming back.

Btw, of all the favors I did for them, I never got a discount on anything. Not that I expected it.

Wow that sucks.

Chicken and brocoli is my older girls favorite.

We used to go to Fantastic China in Little Rock but I swear they changed something about 3 yrs ago to the food. I get so sick and dizzy from eating there and it doesn't matter what I order. No one else does just me.

My favorite Chinese place in CT used to let people "honor pay" if they didn't have cash (they only took cash). Of course being CT, people would come back and pay their bills. That is what gets you repeat business.
