ah better.....

Water, I was dying of thirst....why, might you ask.....

Well, Tiff's friend V, who's husband's brother dropped dead in the casino? remember? Then the family took the loot and spent the summer in Malaysia? remember?

well, they finally got around to inviting me for dinner. It was a choice of that, a CCP party, or the local chinese radio (AM 1480) karaoke contest/ party.

All 3 of which I'm not crazy about. So I went to V's house. It's 72 degrees outside, but about 95 in that small 700 ft apt. No AC. Problem is, they invited 20 other people!

<sigh> FFS, you think they had a single bottle of water? no, and I usually keep a case in the back of each of my cars. But the Accord was out....The food was great, but every drink in that apt was luke warm! I had a bottle of room-temperature snapple.

You think they woulda invested some of that money into an AC?? Yes, the windows were open, but there was no wind to circulate the air, the whole apt had 1 working fan.

This woman, V, sometimes I think good of her, and other times I don't. That's a story for another time.

I'm barefoot but no way pregnant

I have retired that from my list of things to do

Lying!!! REPORTED!!!!!

Have time to read, but not always comment. I'm a busy busy bee.

Plus, I don't like to venture off of this thread much on VJ - too many people that need their hand held, too many know it alls, etc. My patience level is close to zero for adults lately.

Last post on page and therefore unread, sigh ma'am.

Busy though you are, you are missed, Nola-B. ma'am.

You don't want to know how many typos I had up there!

It's pregancy brain again!
