can sign up for the site to track as the above mentions but the posting on the site is way behind. i had my email saying sent to embassy 3 weeks before the site changed the post. Many times they just change the date on your site and never say what has happened. Good luck getting thru to NVC by phone.

I even knew our visa was approved 2 weeks before the site changed the post

it says at NVC ,though i wonder how people on here get to know which day it's received ,and which day it's assined, and when it leaves also ..is that through the phone ?

Yes they just call everyday and the day the NVC has a number that's the assigned dated. The sent date will show on the site.....well not the exact date but it will change from at nvc to sent the day it's sent, if you miss the exact day that changes then you can ballpark or call NVC for it, but there's no real benefit to knowing the exact day it was shipped.
