Texas to California service center

Hello all,

I find out today after I sent my petition to Texas that they forwarded my file to California. Is this normal? California SC has a heavy K1 visa load. Seems like they would send to a less taxed center.

Just wondering. I know it's only a week or 2 more waiting, but I can't wait. This is the biggest thing in my life that I have ever done. I have waited all my life to find the perfect Thai wife.

This is worse than at Christmas time when I was a kid.

I will need tons of support. I know this is the place to get it.

I am here for you all going through the same thing.

Ken

Hey Ken, yes it's very normal. Texas doesn't process i-129fs. Welcome to the waiting game

Texas and Nebraska SC don't process K-1's anymore, so TSC and NSC applications are sent to the CSC. On average, it is about a 3 month wait for the NOA2 approval. Trust me, none of us like to wait and we get addicted to checking VJ and the USCIS websites. Try to be patient (I know it isn't easy) and the best of luck.

Patience is required for this process.

Oh I check 3 or more times a day. I think this is a wonderful place.
