Finally today I got hold of a supervisor by name Mia and she is very kind and nice, she told me that she is going to fallow up the request that was sent to the DR team awhile ago and also she mentioned that she cant review my documents as she does not have the physical file with her.

I hope the Fantastic NVC DR team will look into my documents and complete the case. what a horrible journey it is and now the people with my priority date are getting the interview's this is so frustrating.

That's great that you were able to get a hold of one! Did she say she was going to get your file and review it herself? Usually, the DR team responds quickly when a supervisor makes a request.

Hopefully, you'll get the CC soon!

No Teeak she said there is an email already sent to the DR team took look into my mail that was sitting there since August 12th and she also mentioned that I cant review right now because I need the physical file and she also mentioned that they will review the DS-260 along with documents that needs to be reviewed. I am really confused about this stupid process and moreover my wife is worried that I am taking too much of stress because of this process.

I forgot to tell the supervisor that if they need any other documents my will carry with her for the interview. I hope they don't ask any other documents .

Thanks a lot man for the advice.

Ok, I'm sure they'll look into it quicker now that a supervisor has sent a follow up e-mail.

In my case, the supervisor sent a request to other supervisors in the DS-260 department asking for them to review it but, she only did this since it had been almost a month since her Sept 2 request.

Give it some more time and it'll happen soon. I know what you mean, I constantly called NVC to get things moving. It may be best to leave it alone for now.

Have you thought about contacting your state senator's office? I literally, just yesterday sent my documents to them so they can put in an inquiry but, we got the CC before they needed to. I think other people have had some luck once their senator sent an inquiry.

Yeah that's what I always think but I am unable stop controlling my self calling the NVC I don't know for some reason I am addicted to this, is this happens only to me or for everyone else.

Yes I talked to my Senator staff member and she sent an case status email request to the NVC and its already been 15 days and even though they dont care.

Now I should stop calling NVC for a week and see what will be the result.

I think it depends on which department supervisor you get connected to. For example, Sylvia is a supervisor in the DS-260 department which is why she's able to review it on the spot. Nadi works in a different department so she's not able to review the DS-260 since she's not qualified. So it really depends on the reason why you're put in supervisor review. For some people, its only because the DS-260 hasn't been reviewed and for others its for missing documents.

I called them Thursday in 2 different time can't hold superviosr .none was available for call then I asked about Sylvia .thy told me she work 7 am to 4 pm.i will call Friday again to hold the Sylvia .will let u know more about it,

Just wanted to share my experience... I got a hold of a supervisor on 10/01/15 @ 0830 EST, a female sipervisor. I didn't pay attention to the name (sorry) but she was very nice. My mom's case had been completed since August. My dad's, I am not sure. I see 3 N/As on the website but when I called to verify today, the rep told me that it is still in the process of being reviewed...Okay, going back, my dad's case was put on Supervisor review Sept 2. I submitted his DS260 in July. So yesterday, I spoke to a supervisor. She asked me a few questions about my dad: service in the military, adoption, criminal records, residence outside of the country since age 16. I answered no to all the inquiries. Then, digging deeper she said that I need to submit a copy of my birth cert being the petitioner. At the back of my mind I was like "What?!". But she did notify the supervisor at the review department yesterday. I called 0830 EST. When I logged in on the website to check for progress, I saw 3 N/As. I was happy. But like I mentioned earlier, it still doesn't mean a case review. I asked the rep if I am missimg a document, sje said no. Now, I am torn on whether or not I need to send the document the supervisor told me about. So, it's kind of hamnging in the air for now until it gets completed. I am hopeful that it'll be next week.

I know my friend I have been to this situation that in July when I called NVC to see what is the situation and one of the CR told me that Beneficiary birth certificate was missing and I told her I sent all the documents and I said I never got any check list regarding that certificate missing and she told me that wait for the Check list or send the documents to to save your time that's it on August 10th I sent them the Missing docs with out any check list since then no reply nothing and on Sep'10th when I called there is a lady CR and I told her not to change my case status like putting my case in supervisor review but they never listen to you am I right and she put my case in supervisor review that's it since then no progress in the case and I submitted my DS-260 on July'17th and it is also not reviewed and NVC says that both will be reviewed at the same time god only knows when that will that happen.

When I called yesterday one nice CR connected me to supervisor I don't remember her name exactly and she told me that she is going to send an fallow up email to the DR team but today when I called the CR talked only few words and said the supervisor didn't put any comments in your case then that means the supervisor didn't sent an fallow up email and the CR says I need to wait for 42 days .... yeah that's true

Hmm, then I think you need to talk to another supervisor. Every time I called after speaking to the supervisor, the reps would tell me "it was sent to the document review department by the supervisor". If the supervisor actually did something, it would show up in the activity.

1) I think the date might mean checklist cover edition.

2) You don't have any copies of the birth certificate? Photocopies are sent to NVC and you need to take originals to the actual interview. I would say, talk to a supervisor and have them look into to it to see if they can find it if you don't have any other copies.

weird, we didn't submit anything until late August.

Can we send photocopy of certified birth certificate? My petitioner lost his original cert long ago and he only submitted his certified ones, unfortunately, the certified cert he sent last time to NVC is the last one he has.

I agree with @teeak and I was in the same situation but mine was different situation and never received an checklist email from NVC and after I sent the documents the representative told me that the NVC looking for my wife's birth certificate I already sent it when I first sent the documents so I sent that document and since them I am waiting for that document to be reviewed so the big mistake is never send any documents without the checklist email and one more thing is I am worried that my wife's birth certificate was registered later that is after her birth in India and even though I have the secondary evidence that is affidavit from their parents and a school conduct certificate but I didn't sent those secondary evidence them to so I am now worried that if they send me a checklist for that information then I will completely screwed and don't know how long I should be waiting for the CC :(

So if you get any checklist regarding the Birth Certificate then it is better to send an secondary evidence.
