Paying AOS and IV fees after filling out DS-261

Hello all,

So I am a bit confused about paying the fees after filling out the DS-261 form. I got my case number and invoice number last week but they could not add any emails to my case as the case was locked (the agent said they were probably entering data etc.). So I called today, was able to add our emails to the case. I just went online and filled out the DS-61 form and that went fine. I see two links that say "Pay Now" for both the AOS and the IV fees. Does that mean I can pay them now? I clicked on the Pay Now for the AOS and it shows the amount. etc. (didn't try to click the IV one). Does this mean I can pay both of the fees already? Or at least the AOS one?

From reading the NVC wiki page (http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process) and from reading on here, everyone says it will take longer then that.

Just want to make sure I have not messed anything up. I have attached a screenshot of what I see with names blanked out.

2015-07-27: Called and was able to give emails

2015-07-27: Submit DS-261

2015-07-27: Pay AOS Fee

2015-08-25: Receive IV bill

2015-08-26: Pay IV Fee

2015-09-05: Submit DS-260

2015-09-07: Sent AOS and IV package via EP

2015-10-11: Resubmit via EP after being told to do so on 2015-10-09 as it looked like our original emails were lost

2015-10-16: Received email for scan date of 2015-10-12. Told that basically nothing can be done and we need to wait 30 days from 2015-10-12 (30+ days lost because they lost our emails)

2015-10-26: Told case is basically complete but that they are building my electronic file. Told there is no timeline for this.

2015-10-30 & 2015-11-13: Still told no update. Building electronic file still and no timeline.

2015-11-17: Case Complete

2015-12-03: Receive packet 4

2015-12-15: Medical

2015-12-18: Medical picked up results

2016-01-12: Interview - Approved!

2016-02-03: POE

If the pay now button doesn't work, you can't pay it yet. However you should be able to pay the AOS bill right now. After it's paid you can send the IV and AOS packages.

I will try to pay it tonight. Sadly we don't have everything we need for the package yet (waiting for the co-sponsor to get their record of birth abroad from the department of state...we are hoping it comes soon but we only send the application for the replacement like a little over a month ago).

If the Pay now button for the IV fee works too, can I pay it right away as well?

Yes if you can pay them both, do so!

I was able to pay the AOS fee but not IV fee which seems to be normal. I was just shocked when I saw the pay now beside both options. But on the next page it brings you to a part that now shows my AOS fee as in progress and there is currently nothing under the IV fee for me to select to pay.

How long does it take for the IV fee to be invoiced? Or is that only after the DS-261 is reviewed and I need to kinda call in a week and see if they will do that?
